On winning streaks (loosely defined)

Season ending winning streaks. Several players were playing real well at the end of 2001. Wherever they ended it.
I'm not looking back past California hard court season. Further, I'm looking for how the player was doing as their season ended.

Lindsay - Three tournaments wins, and she gets hurt. Just pulled out of Sydney. It's a shame. She was on top of her game.
