I went there after women's match between Kim vs Vivi finished. Kim beated Vivi 6-1,6-0. And today I did not have much time to walk around because I watched Tommy vs Xavier match. I also watched mixed double match between Belgium vs Spain. It was very great mixed double match. That is the reason why I've not taken many pictures. But today I have many pictures of Serena practicing. Night seesion match started from 05:30 pm and I came back at 06:00 pm. Anyway I will try again next day.
Here below are the pictures.

Was it Kim that played amazing, or Vivi that played bad?
Kim is very friendly when I asked her for the picture. This picture I've taken when she was running back to the hotel (after she won mixed double match) . I asked her and she said "sure" but " please hurry". Thank you so much Kim for the picture.

I was waiting for asking her photo at the entrance before the night session start. And I saw her walking from the hotel, I asked her for the photo. She said "OK", I don't stop, I keep walking. That is the reason why I had her photos as shown below.
Thanks for the great pics!! Have you taken any of Lleyton? Or have you seen him at all?

Thanks for the pics Jiro! :wavey:
Were those pics of Tommy and Vivi taken before or after their mixed doubles match?
BTW, what's inside those grey paper bags Tommy is holding? I've seen plenty of them around, but I've always wondered what's stored inside them...

Glen - Kim was playing very good. Pascual was also nervous in the beginning and really didn't have anything to hurt her, she was very defensive.
Kim's serve was working quite well- she looked so fit and sharp(not like at the start of 2002).After Serena I would say Kim has a very good chance at the AUS OPEN
Thanks jirobkk for the pics- please keep them coming

Kim was playing very well! She's been working with Hewitt's fitness trainer and coach and also himself.
Kim walks through the tunnel to the hotel rather than getting into a car that's waiting for her!! Plus she doesn't have security with her.

Both teams were playing great mixed double yesterday. Vivi and Tommy played good tennis in the first set and you know Xavier played bad, he did so many unforced error especially volley at the net. Kim was working so hard in the second set after Belgium team was down 3-4 and they broke Spain service back after the Belgium won the tie-break. Kim and Xavier played well again in the final 10 points of tie-break (I don't know what they call). Kim was showing that she was a great player. She used her brain when she has long stroke rallies with Tommy, immediately she hit a lob ball over Vivi (because Vivi is short player) and finally the Belgium won the point.
Totally I would say both team played great tennis yesterday especially Vivi, Kim and Toomy but except Xavier. !!!!!

I've taken Tommy and Vivi photos after they lost Mixed double match. I met them at the outside before they were back to the hotel. They played so well both of Tommy and Vivi but just could not won a couple important points. I had a great time watching them play.
I did not notice those grey paper bags Tommy is holding before even I've taken his photos. Have you ever seen more than 1 photo that I've taken ? or Have you ever seen it before from somewhere ?

Hello Fieke, Rachel (Are you a big fan of Rachel ?), sunset, salima, Nina_rus, baico, angele87, elke_belke, Pureracket :wavey:
You are welcome. :hearts:
Today I did not go to the site. I walked from the hotel to King Park and caught a ferry boat to the Perth Zoo (in Sourt Perth). The reason why I went to the Zoo just because I really want to see a coala. ( No coala in my country ) after that I had a sightseeing in Perth city and I went to Fremantle by train. here below are some today's pictures. (Sorry for the pictures that not concern to tennis)
Symbol of Perth = Swan River and Bank West Building (I've taken this picture at Ferry Boat Station)

If you can not see the pictures I've been posting, please try this below URL
Hewitt is only one player that I still don't have chance to take the photo. He always does not give any autograph to tennis fans who are waiting for. The first day he was running away to the other side of the court after he finished training (may be he was tired) even we were waiting for his autograph. I think he should not do this kind of behavior because it will hurt tennis fans. But he did even many Aussie fans were waiting for him.

I've seen players hold those grey bags on television...
I think maybe there is shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc inside.
If you see any players carrying them in the future, could you find out for me? :wavey:

Dec 31st, 2002, 03:48 PM
I will try to ask the players if I see that kind of grey bag.
BTW, Happy New Year to all tennis fans.
