I think either USA or Belgium will win the Cup.<br />It depends on Monica´s form after the break.

I think Belgium will win it. I would be suprised if Kim loses a match, Xavier should win most of his, and both are decent doubles players.

USA also have a good chance, but it depends on how Monica is playing after a long break (Kim had Fed Cup) and Jean-Michael isn't that good a doubles player.

I give Switzerland an outside chance too. Federer will have to be playing at his best, and Miroslava will have to support him at least in the doubles. But they could pose Belgium & USA a few problems.

I agree wiht many that either the US or Belgium shoudl have a great chance.

The Swiss of Federer.. and frankly I don't know I can see Malisse or Gambil beating Federer at his best.

However, Seles at her best can take any women in the feild.

Then again, who knows how much Kim will improve over the break? If Kim played her best right now, the only women in the feild who should beat her, is Seles. But a lot can change over a few months.

It would certainly be interesting, Marie. The last time a girlfriend-boyfriend pair played against each other was in 1995 when Ukraine played Germany in the final - Andrei Medvedev vs Anke Huber. Germany won.
