An-Sophie withdrew.
I hope she's had enough injuries for the rest of her career now.

It looks like Kirsten is not playing Paris anymore?
She's not in the qualifying draw...

As expected, she is going to play Fed Cup on clay, the week after.

Is Yanina playing Fed cup?
And good choice for Flipper. It's not like she is that long back in Belgium already.

I don't think so, Yanina is playing in Doha after Fed Cup.

Good match from Yanina, especially in the third set she played good tennis.
She was leading 5-0 in the third and then hit some errors but could finally close it out :D
Anastasia didn't play her best, with a lot of errors, but sometimes some incredible winners!

Second round she must win.

Good fight from Yanina
Well Kiki has nothing to lose and has the advantage to play at home. I guess it can be tough.

 Yanina didn't play her best, and had already lost the match in her mind I guess

Yanina :tape:

If she wants to become a fixture in the top 20, she has to avoid such losses. It was a good opportunity for another Premier quarterfinal.
Oh well, onto Switzerland now!

I read in an interview at the beginning of 2013 that her goal is to be top 10 :o
I don't think that's possible for now, she's not consistent enough. And she will be lucky if she's back in the top 20.

It's good to have high goals IMO, but I guess she will never get inside top-10. She can beat almost anyone, but has far too many defeats by players she should put aside in 2 sets ;) No consistent results at all...and thats what you need to get inside top-10.
Top-20 may not be a problem for her, playing like sh*t/injured after Stanford last year, and she was very close to top-20.
