I always wondered this. They register with very much tennis-liking names, but never post.....

also..... It annoys me that when I joined, alot of good names were taken an never used!!!

Do you have to be registered to be able to read the board? , so maybe they join the 1st time to read it, and never back again. dunno.

LOL, lemon...then I'm glad there's no one else on here from Indiana with my name :)

Maybe many of those posters are lurkers, who want to reserve the right to post at a certain time. I know I belong to a couple of groups where I just lurk.

I agree with that too, I almost never post in some forums, but I just lurk there from time to time

Yeah, as of April 1 you had to register to read some forums, all but GM, NT, and Games I think.

I remember coz I found the board in December and used to just read it, and then I had to join.

Richie I agree but I reckon the point of all of this is that there are MORE lurkers than actual posters at wtaworld. Lol :o ;)

Could be. Well, I say let them lurk if they want to. There are around 7,500 members on here, and could you imagine if every one of them posted 500 or 1,000 messages? :o
Poe and the moderators would be going insane :)

Actually I would be guilty of this crime in ATP world. I registered first as "Sam L" but something weird happened and I just couldn't get logged on. I couldn't post, it was hell but some force was seriously trying to stop me from posting as "Sam L"

So I just had to get a new name. So maybe that's what happened to Pippy, pippa and pipsqueak and other unfortunate souls :o

That's probably why they registered, because they don't want anyone else taking their name, yet they don't care enough to post messages.
