I watched Mattek Sands play a match with Clijsters a couple years ago. I was very impressed with her that day even though she lost in 3 sets. I am surprised she hasnt made more of her talent in terms of tour results.

She finally made headway and then she got injured. She was closing in on the top 30. Looks like she is finally getting back!

Hopefully she can stay healthy and climb back up atleast in that area. She is a real talent, more than you usually see of players of the journeywomen rank. Great shotmaker!

If she could cut down on the unforced errors she could be a real threat to the top players. She's too talented not to have some great results.

Isnt she about 28 now though. Well there are late bloomers in tennis, maybe she could be another.

She's 27. You make a good point, she could be a late bloomer. Fingers crossed!
