With Bushfires raging around Sydney Again...only some several days into summer...and in midst of drought...I ask this...

Please spare a thought for those who lost memories in these 15 houses already and for the fireman already injured.

These fires are only 6 hours old and tomorrow they are expecting hot conditions again.

My next door neighbour is a CFA head and says this year will be horrific.....so please if you live in Australia...clear your'e gutters and move firewood and flamable material away from the house...and if close to fires fill your'e bath tubs full of water.

As I write this the news tells me fires have broken out in the Blue Mountains....this is not good :-(

I hope we are sending firefighters to help out again!

I went to the tourney in Canberra this year with my best friend, and of course, that was the same time when the terrible bushfires were in Sydney. When my friend and I were driving back from Canberra, we passed a long convoy of firetrucks going back to Victoria! All the cars going the opposite to us were flashing their lights to say thanks, and we waved at the firepeople as we passed the trucks! It's probably stupid, but I really felt proud of them, and it made me feel glad to be Aussie, coz we can help out our fellow Aussies! :D

yeah, but it's kind of hard to stop stupid kids if you don't know they are gonna light fires... I wish there was something to stop them, but how?

Burn their houses down and let them watch. Maybe then they'd know what it feels like to lose something you've built all your life.

two years is not enough. Not when they cause millions of dollars of physical damage and irrepairable emotional damage  :fiery: bastards!
