Madison wins the wild card again. Her results really picked up at the end of 2012, I look forward to seeing how she does in Melbourne! :yeah:

If she keeps working hard the next few weeks I see no reason why Mal can't come through qualies and make it to the MD herself.

Well DONE Madison!

Good luck in Melbourne.

These two on the fast indoor court the playoff's played at must have been a joy to watch :yeah:

Well done to Madison and like iPatty said, unless she gets a very tough section in quallies, I fully expect Mal to join her in the MD.

Can't wait to see her in Melbourne, she's one of my predilect youngsters :oh:

It's a good match. Madison won because of her serves and aces.

Good for Madison but Burdette is a declining player.

She turned pro three months ago. :o Give it a little bit of time before saying something like that.

Congrats Keys.

Well done Madison :yeah: Let's hope for a good draw at the AO :bounce:

Mal  Like many other posters said, she should have no problem qualifying if she plays to her current form :)

Was thinking of another US player.

There's so many pretenders I forget.

OK two titles, but Jessica Pegula and Ying-Ying Duan just isn't gonna cut it. You see what happens when she runs into buzzsaw AKA Mashnam Style: couple breaksticks. :rocker2:

Congrats for Madison!!! My fave is Mal, so I am not really happy, but have to be fair.

Was also hoping Burdette would win, but congrats to Keys.

The playoff website is pretty bad, though. Tried to watch the archive, since I wasn't home, but it has no sound and is incomplete :o Even the draw and the schedule of play was consistently late in being posted.

Both Keys and Burdette have withdrawn from the Australian Open qualies. One of them as a result of the MDWC, the other is just out of the tournament. Still no clue about who is who :help:
