Doubles will take the court on Saturday with the draw to be determined later this week. Liezel Huber, who adopted a child after United States Open, and Lisa Raymond took the title last year with intentions on defending it. Huber and Raymond has won 5 titles in 2012.
Sara Errani, who is also playing singles, and Roberta Vinci has been the best doubles team with 8 titles which includes the French Open and United States Open.
Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka has won 4 titles. However, in my opinion, their best results came during the grass season where they lost in the finals at Wimbledon and Olympics to Serena and Venus Williams and United States Open where they lost to Errani and Vinci in the final.
Maria Kirilenko, who has been slowed by injuries, and Nadia Petrova won the final spot defeating Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears, who won 4 titles where 3 of them came during the Asian swing at Seoul, Tokyo and Osaka, in the semifinals at Moscow last week. Kirilenko and Petrova won Miami and was a finalist at the French Open losing to Errani and Vinci.

I think Hlavackova/Hradecka have a good chance. The last time they failed to make the final of a tournament was back at the French Open in June and I think the surface should suit their games. I think you can put forward a solid case for every team though.

Think everyone's got a good shot, but hoping Errani/Vinci will finish their brilliant year with the win here

So, we have the draw now! It is Vinci/Errani vs Petrova/Kirilenko in the upper semifinal and Huber/Raymond vs Hradecka/Hlavackova in the other one. :cheer:

Team Errinci leads 4-1 Petrolenko this year while team HuRay is tied with HracKova 1-1. :spit:

That picture shows that you can look classy even when not being dressed in a night gown (like all the girls from the singles YEC).
They all look great, even Huber.
