Congrats, Anna-Lena/Kveta ! :yeah:

Julia/Barbie

"I always love playing here - last year I played with Julia actually, and we got to the finals, and a few years back I won the title," Groenefeld said. "So I always play well here and Kveta and I had a great week this week, too. We just started in Tokyo this year and so far it's been really great. We're going to play next year and for sure we'll try to play the WTA Championships at the end of the year."

"This year has been very difficult for me, splitting with Katarina and not having the titles I was used to having from last year," Peschke said. "But this is definitely positive and I feel like I'm on the way up again. Anna-Lena and I understand each other very well on and off court, so I'm looking forward to getting another nice experience and really trying to follow it for the next year."

Groenefeld and Peschke won their first WTA doubles title as a team; Groenefeld now has 12 WTA doubles titles to her name while Peschke has 24.

Btw, Its been a long time since I first saw Kveta play Live, nice she will play next year also! I still remember I saw her when I stayed at the Player Hotel in 1999! ;) (She won in qualies and beat Kim in 1. rnd)

I honestly thing you'd have to play something close to your best tennis to beat Grönefeld & Peschke indoors. Peschke is almost an indoor specialist (especially when she was playing singles) and Grönefeld wasn't too shabby indoors either if my memory serves me correctly. I have high hopes for this team.

Yep. That's what they said.

Top 20 for Groenefeld!
