What a fall season for them :worship:

They will now be around 160 points behind Kirilenko/Petrova going into Moscow, so I think this how the final race for the 4th spot looks.

-If Kirilenko/Petrova reach the finals or win Moscow, they will automatically go to Istanbul

-Kops-Jones/Spears MUST reach at least the semifinals in Moscow to go to Istanbul. They will qualify if they win Moscow and Kirilenko/Petrova lose in the semifinals or earlier, OR they reach the semifinals and Maria/Nadia lose 1st round.

I'm happy for them, but I want Petrenko to get that last place.

shame watson couldn't get the doubles title as well, but I guess she was exhausted from that last match, what an amazing week for her.

Good job in final by Raquel and Abi though I would have loved to see Kimiko win.

Tough opener in Moscow for the winners, they start against Peschke & Groenefeld.

Watson must be dead tired but she really tried her best this week.
And Kimiko did her job for her host tour too.

Nice to know they are planning to play together some other time. :hearts:

They are actually only 32 points behind Nadia/Maria. The Americans have to go one round further in Moscow.

More titles this season than Hlavackova/Hradecka and Kirilenko/Petrova:dance:

Moscow will hopefully be exciting rather than one match and the race is done.

I could be wrong, but I thought that Abi/Raquel's worst result from their top 11 tournaments this year was 130 points. So when you knock that off and add 280 points from Osaka, wouldn't they only close the gap by 150?

Plus, the Moscow draw came out. Abi/Rocky and Nadia/Maria are in the same half, so we could have a blockbuster semi between them! Nadia/Maria got a MUCH kinder quarter of the draw though...

With their draw in Moscow, if Abi/Rocky beat the tough teams they are drawn against and get the YEC spot, it's deserved IMO (and I love Kiri). They seem to have become a much stronger team in the second half of this season.

You could be right. For some reason I was thinking the YEC race was just flat out points accumulated, as opposed to the rankings.

^It is flat out points accumulated. Never been ranking style influenced, CoryAnnFan:p
