What a nailbiter.

So who qualifies for the YEC will be determined in a direct match as Petrova and Kirilenko are projected to meet in the semis the winner of the match between Kops-Jones/Spears and Makarova/Vesnina. That's fair enough.

No, actually both teams will have a chance for a revenge in the upcoming Moscow and Linz.
I suppose the only chance for one of the teams to automatically qualify for the YEC is Petrova/Kirilenko to win the whole event and Kops-Jones/Spears to lose the QFs. Then their lead is going to be 862 points which can be surpassed with both Moscow and Linz titles (470+280=750 points).

And I'm like 100% sure whatever happens Kops-Jones/Spears will enter both events as they have a chance for the brightest highlight of their careers.

As of semis Makiri/Nadia has 5005
as Kops-jones/Spears lost in the Qf they have 4693 and when rather than if they play Moscow and 1 280 they have a max of 5443

Which means Makiri/Nadia need to win the title to secure YEC spot which will get them 5555, a final will only get them 5255.

They should totally cap the number of tournaments a team can play...

Come on Nads and Makiri!!

3 of 15 BPs converted. Very few deciding points won. ALG double faulted 8! Times in this match. Three times in a row at 4 all 15all first set after they had wasted a 4-1 lead with GamepointS to go up 5-2.
Then they had 2 SPs at 6-5* and also in the 2nd set they were up 4-2 with again two BPs to go up 5-2. Fucked it up and fought off a MP at 5-6. Well and then in the MTB ALG double faults for the eight time (Kveta with 0 DF) on matchpoint down.
Could've been a 6-2 6-2 for them but.. Oh well... Hope ALG gets her shit together:fiery:

Actually in the race in doubles all tournaments played counts no limit. But yeah they basically play every week.
