Welcome to Mestre, Italy. A strong 50k is up after a few weeks without a challenger! The field is strong with many players from around the world. There are many great players in PYW here including Anastasija Sevastova, who currently is number 2 int the race, Richel Hogenkamp, who has reached a final or two this year, and also Timea Bacsinszky, who hasn't played a challenger yet but is trying to gain back some form by playing this. But unfortunately 2 time defending champion, Liana Ungur will not be participating, most likely due to injury. Vote now as the tournament kicks off!
