I hope Yanina can have some wins in here, normally she is the topseed because McHale pulled out...
Good luck to the girls!!!

Yanina took the same score against Davis :o I wasn't able to watch more of this after 5-1 first set, Yanina was awful and seemed to doesn't care much today :help:

What's wrong with her???
 she loses to anybody these days... :help:
Luckily for her, she has no points left to defend in 2012.

I don't know but i'm worried :scared:

Finally not a bad day, Flipper defeated the first seed Cibulkova 2-6 6-3 7-5 :D
She choked a bit in the both sets she won but she played quite well today and did some greats shots :) Her backhand looked better than usually :p
Cibulkova seemed to have issues with Kirsten's game and missed few easy shots as in the last 2 rallies of the match.
Lucic next looks good.. But we never know what can happen

But this tournament is already a mess :help:

Kirsten def. Lucic 6-7(2) 6-2 6-4 :cheer: I wasn't able to watch the entire of the match but from what i saw she played good enough to beat someone like Lucic who hit a lot of errors especially when her opponent is defending well. Flipper was bad sometimes and her forehand wasn't great as he can be but her serve did a big part of the match (12 aces ). I never thought she was able to win 2 matchs in a row being a set down here :) She led 4-2 in the last then when Lucic was back at 4-4 i thought she was screwed as she can be quickly pissed but she finally won it with a stunning dropshot :hearts: Well done girl :yeah:
Tatishvili in QF.. She should be tougher to beat than Lucic.

You can say that Kirsten plays better than Yanina right now!
Hope to see her in the semis! Tatishvili is playing really well the last weeks, so it will be difficult... But good luck to Flipper! :bounce:

About Yanina, I can imagine that when you have back-problems and your serve is not going as it should, you get demotivated... Because her fighting spirit is her main strenghth, the lack of it causes these exetremely bad results. Maybe she should hust take the rest of the year of to rest/strenghthen her back, work on her serve and prepare 2013. She doesn't have any more points to defend so her ranking would not suffer.

I feel you! I thinking she plays a good first round and then her back hurts. That must be really demotivating to play with pain. Her second rounds always suck...

I remember that Kirsten was down 5-6 0-30 in SF but she won the next point with a netclip and then managed to win the next 3 points, i can't imagine if Barthel had 3 SP's  But anyway she was stunning this week  Rarely saw her playing that well, her backhand was good, her forehand still great, her net game can be brilliant as often, she truly have a huge hand  and her serve was almost at his best  I still can't believe she did that :worship:

Yanina should take some rest and trains hard waiting for the next season to begin  That tough loss against Davis was just too much..
