OMG... what a 3rd set it must have been!!!! What a shame we couldn't watch the match because of the rain...

Spaniards were 2/5* down, then they managed to come back and beat the Russians...

Another Slam SF for them... hope they can beat Errani/Vinci, but it will not be easy...

Aware of Petrova's brain damages I believe it is the other way round. :haha:
Nadia/Masha saving 2 mps at 6-5 in the third after leading 40-15.

You just don't deserve it, girls. Have fun back in Russia and get your shit together for Asian swing. You have quarters to lose there.:wavey:

:cheer::cheer: That was so nerve wracking :sobbing::tears:
Before the match I thought they had no chance but hell yes!
Best result of the US for me :)
Nothing to lose against Errani/Vinci, hopefully they can make it competitive!

Good for Nuria and MJMS, but Masha/Nadia, really? Should not have lost this match.

Congratulations to the winners. :)

Wow, didn't see this one coming

As usual, the team that defeats the Williams Sisters could not consolidate that win to a Slam title.

congrats girls! you are recovering your real level...this tournaments is a challenge for them, they where on the ropes against Kops-Jones/Spears and against the spaniards in the second round but they made it!

So proud of them! vamoss Llagostinez!

OMG No   WTF???

Sep 5th, 2012, 11:39 PM
Nuria/Pepa are amazing :hearts: They come back just few months ago and they are having great results so soon!
Anyway, this is the same team that won YEC 3 years ago beating Williams Sisters and #1 Black/Huber in route

Didn't see it coming and this makes me feel even happier :woohoo:

Masha the Lesser :wavey:

The Spanish are the better and more accomplished team. No surprise here.

Sep 6th, 2012, 12:40 AM
Fuck this fucking day. Every player I was rooting for (both ATP and WTA) lost today. And these Russians wasted 5-2 in 3rd :o

Off to bed now. Good night, folks.

Sep 6th, 2012, 01:30 AM
:rolls: celebrated like they won the title the other day. GIRLS BYE!!! :wavey:

Sep 6th, 2012, 01:47 AM
Why is it that when players defeat the sisters, either in singles or doubles, they more than likely lose in the next round?

Sep 6th, 2012, 01:50 AM
So awesome! :D :bounce:

Surprised considering the Spaniards' horrible level the past 2 rounds. But a great fightback. Nuria is knocking on the door of top 10 again. 55 points behind Kirilenko for the 10th spot.

Now, can the Spaniards consolidate their win over the Russians with one over the Italians today?
