I will be fine with any result if Roberta will play a good match.

Roby on 8match win streak? Aga needs to play her best.

This would be a perfect opportunity to add a punchbag (by TF's terms), but Roberta is in great form and Aga's not. So it can go either way.

Aga is 4:0 but their matches have mostly been pretty close... Aga in 3 sets, Roby's form will fluctuate.

Aga pretty much owns Roberta in the head to head but this time Roberta will win in three :yeah:

Pretty much. I'd say this one is 50/50 based on both player's current form. Should be an enjoyable match though whoever wins, certainly more than today's Aga v Jelena match..

easy for Radwanska unfortunately. The H2H doesn't lie.

Didnt think she would have had a chance at the QF with the 2 Na beatdowns and retirement in New Haven.

The Italian has shown such a good level of tennis throughout last weeks.
Judging by that h2h the win shouldn't be a problem for Aga, yet I fear for this encounter.
Aga still isn't in her best form and she's had some problems while facing technical opponents last couple of times.

If Vinci plays well, it could be a very close match.

I also think a tricky match for Aga. Depends how her shoulder can hold. If on usual day, she could win a 2 close sets.

I really hope Vinci can get a win, I really do. Playing great tennis.

I hope that Aga can take it. OTOH I agree with a lot of posters that the outcome is really 50/50. Aga is still far form what can be called a good from and even further from her best.

I voted for Aga, but have to agree with the majority of posters comments. Vinci is playing some fine tennis and could well take this match. A very close one to call. Good luck to both.

Robera is a great form. She is playing so well. I'll tough match I think.. It'a pity that Aga won't play against Slava..

Close match to call. Vinci is in good form, and Aga isn't at her best. Could go either way

I think Vinci will beat her this time. Her play this summer has been really impressive.

just listened to Roberta's interview after beating Cibulkova, she said she is a bit tired after Dallas and all this matches single + doubles at the usopen, but she said she feels strong because she beated good players in the past days like jankovic, shvedova and cibulkova. about radwanska she said that she is strong but that doesn't hit as hard as shvedova or cibulkova and that her only chance is to attack the net because radwanska doesn't make a mistake from the baseline

this is Roberta's chance to get into a GS quarterfinal

Just can't believe Aga could actually reach the QF playing that badly

She said today her shoulder is OK, no excuses anymore :p

Oh, Jesus Christ, how far is Radwanska going to vulture in this draw? :crying2: I'm not even sure I can trust Kerber to take her out after that lame performance against her in the Wimbledon semis.

How does Radwanska tend to handle slices? Seeing as that's pretty much the only thing Vinci has to hurt anyone with.

Hopefully Aga will win it, but she and Vinci has always had tough matches even if Aga won them all.

Oh, Jesus Christ, how far is Radwanska going to vulture in this draw?
How far did Sharapova vulture in the last French Open draw?
How far is she going to vulture in this draw?

No sense.

I am going for the upset here. Roby deserves a slam QF, too.

I love Aga but It's delightful to watch Roby the way she is playing and she deserves a deep Grand Slam round. So I'm going with her and I think she has a shot.
