Minella fought hard until 0-4, then gave up. Got to give Anna credit, won the 1st set with 30 errors and struggled with her serve all night. Dav. Sep 1st, 2012, 12:39 AM People don't give Anna the credit she deserves...very talented young player. :yeah: Petkorazzi Sep 1st, 2012, 12:40 AM Is this real?! :sobbing: Qetusi Sep 1st, 2012, 12:45 AM Is this real?! :sobbing: IT IS :crying2: 4th round baby :worship: Xepher Sep 1st, 2012, 12:46 AM Cannot believe Tatishvili is just 22. It seems like she's been on tour for a long while Miracle Worker Sep 1st, 2012, 12:46 AM :hysteric: 4th round for Anna Tatishvili :hysteric: Well, at least Minella lost :o And her overrated beauty won't play in 4th round of Slam this year :o cellophane Sep 1st, 2012, 12:48 AM :spit: Tatishvili???? 4R? Is this real life? GrassGOAT Sep 1st, 2012, 12:48 AM Mandy was up 5-3 in the first set and then didn't win a game after that. :o @danieln1 Sep 1st, 2012, 12:53 AM  Brad[le]y. KournikovaFan91 Sep 1st, 2012, 12:56 AM The title is so true, this looks like an ITF match not a 3R GS match. :tape: Cirstea what the fuck where you doing  Patrick345 Sep 1st, 2012, 12:58 AM Tatishvili has some tennis talent. Mandy BlueTrees Sep 1st, 2012, 04:43 AM Anna seems to be finally breaking through :D I don't think she'll ever be Top 20 but it's nice to see her having a great year and heading towards Top 50. I remember when she beat Mirza as Miami as a 15 year old in 2006 and it took her a long time to even break Top 100. It didn't even happen until last year. But she's definitely still moving up. :yeah: Her run ends against Vika though :p Drimal Sep 1st, 2012, 07:44 AM Keep on bitching about Mandy all you want. She has improved nearly 100 places in 12 months and will be ranked inside top 70 in both singles and doubles next week. S.T.A.R. Sep 1st, 2012, 07:59 AM OMG :inlove: Anna going for the top 10 :worship: Is that the best Georgian result ever??!! Sombrerero loco Sep 1st, 2012, 08:15 AM vika to get into the qf with 62 60 or similar scoreline Mitten Kitten Sep 1st, 2012, 08:25 AM When the draw opened up I was sure she was going to make it to the 4th  she's underrated in this thread, but she's a solid game and a solid mentality! Wert. Sep 1st, 2012, 08:30 AM Awww poor Mandy :awww: Wasted SP  but Anna :yeah: :yeah: SVK Sep 1st, 2012, 10:29 AM I never saw Tatishvili for a more than a few points so I was also surprised she made it that far here, but looks like people see some talent, so some of us are probably once again looking at the name, not at the game. polly Sep 1st, 2012, 10:35 AM is this the best ever tennis result for a georgian player? is anna the highest ranked player ever from georgia? Just Do It Sep 1st, 2012, 10:35 AM :hysteric: But yeah, at every GS there is someone completely random in top16, this time that is Anna T  Good for her ... and Gigi. Mandy this girl:facepalm: Remember once she was completely humiliated on Ashe, this time she can go out at least with some pride, but Minella is really one of the worst players, I've ever seen on WTA level. What about the 12 players she's beaten in the last 12 months in WTA level tournaments? flareon Sep 1st, 2012, 01:24 PM I am not really suprised, I watched Tatishvili play Wozniacki in Oz and she should of won a set at least, with the crumbling draw its not really a suprise she came through this well done to her and enjoy the moment against Vika, tbf if cirstea had a brain this would be hers but she does not... | |
