View Full Version : Should Na Still Retain Karlos Rodriguez After This USO FAIL ???

NA-GOAT

she hired him and he started sending her emails

she went to the Montreal FINAL crushing Aga but lost in the final to Petra

then he joined her in Cincinatti

not much difference as she still crushed Aga but went onto the win the title besting Venus & Angie

after a week of full training, Na appeared lost in the 3rd set and Karlos sat there helpless

he should have at least given her envelopes to open if she finds herself in a 3rd set :weirdo:

well I think Na will retain him until the 5th Slam China Open :oh:

She should fire everyone and work with herself on her brainfart solo acts :cheer:

Rome wasn't built in a day.
And we all know how good it was for Caroline to get rid of her coach after Australia.
Patience is a virtue that people need to cultivate

No.
Ni La played a little differently today, playing within herself to get back into the match, building up points before she unleashed to get back the second set. She probably felt a little uncomfortable at 2-2 in the third against an inspired opponent and wanted to go back to her ball bashing.
It will take a little time, but I think we'll know by next Spring if she should dump him or not.

She was just outplayed by a young opponent. It would've happened with or without the coach.

she should and working on going to the net more should be what she and Carlos work on for the rest of the year.I don't know how many times she should have moved forward and ended up on her back foot stumbling.Motto should be :forward.forward.forward

She should get rid of him asap. The only thing he can teach her now is how to cheat.

Carlos helped Na win a match for the first time @ USO since 2009. Keep him :cheer:

No because she didn´t win the slam :oh:

She only fires coaches that led her to slam titles

Na did not play that badly. Laura played really well and you have to give her some credit. Na won Cincy and made the final in Canada. Much better than the rest of her year, no?

Also, you can't expect immediate results. Patience is key.

They should stay together for the rest of the year, at least, before considering a change.

And why would she blame Carlos when they've barely been working together for a month? That's ridiculous.

Possibly Na's biggest mistake was to underestimate how long Laura would be able to maintain her level in the match. On the positive side Na didn't go into panic mode which may be down to Carlos's influence, but maybe should have pressed a little earlier to dominate more. But I don't think she played that badly.

Should tennisforum still retain SAISAI-GOAT after this THREAD FAIL ??? :p

No that would clearly be an overreaction. Suicide would seem like a more appropriate reaction.

Shit Happens.

She lost to a talented young player, with nothing to lose, when Na wasn't at her best, and Robson played better. Simple as that.

A more timely and appropriate thread question should of been, "where is, or has anyone seen D Sanders"?
