The Americans saved so many break points in the first and second set to went a set up and reach the tiebreak in the second set... Then, thay squandered 3 match points (2 on their serve!) and found themselves 4-1 down in the third. Then, they "resurrected" winning the last 5 games and closing out the match in 2h12! Honestly, I was hoping they would lose to see Errani and Vinci ascending to the No. 1 spot with their next win, but I am kind of used of seeing the Americans saving multiple breaks and winning the match! Still hoping that the Italians will grab the No. 1 spot though... ;) (they just need to reach at least the second round and to match the Americans' result)

I wanted to add USOPEN - R1 to the thread title but I don't know how to edit a title... any suggestion???

PS: It's the first time I open a thread, but I find myself discussing with myself! Either what I write is completely uninteresting , either nobody wants to comments over a victory of the-most-disliked-double-player-ever Ms Huber!

I wanted to watch this match and I got there at like 11:10. But it was PACKED. Every seat taken and even all the bleacher seats for Court 5 were taken. It was nuts. They were all waiting for Kim's match next and did so by being at the match before. And then there was an enormous line during the match to try to get in for the second set. Everyone wanted Kim. She should have been on a bigger court.

Thanks! Don't you want to share with me the tricks and the secrets of... editing (a title)? ;)
