This USO gets worse and worse :bigcry: All it needs to be the worst tournament ever is for Kim and Sloane to lose, and Sharapova to get a cakewalk draw to victory

Then I see flops like this.

Then I see flops like this.

She is barely Top 100 and has beaten few Top 100 players this year. Didn't she play SF or QF in Strasbourg and Dallas? Plus she is very solid when it comes to Grand Slam tournaments, especially for a barely Top 100 player. She is always playing very good at USO... I dunno why are people bashing her so much

People talking about Parmentier like she is Brie Whitehead...
She has been in the top 100 for a while now and she might not be the best mover but her game is far from being awful and she also has a good serve.
Well deserved victory, keep improving Pauline!

Nice moeny grab. Something is so off with Wickmayer´s serve since her back injury. She gets broken like she is Cadantu.

How is it good for tennis when the better player loses?

Two biggest evil bitches of WTA out on the same day. WTA is (partially) saved. :worship:

I agree but what does the fact that LDL and Rodionova both lost have to do with the match thread for Wickmayer and Parmentier? I think you posted in the wrong thread

She's actually very nice, you obviously have never met her ;)

For some reason Pauline always plays well in NY . It seems that way at least :p. IIRC she beat Hantuchova last year for example ;)

OMG
Unexpected result.
I know Witchmayer is in a slump lately but losing to Frogline Parmugtier of all people...
It's incredible, that ITF vulture and her staff must pay her opponents, it's the only explanation i can find to justifiate her victories at WTA level because she's such a limited player (even my grandma hits a better BH for instance)... It's not like she's a fighter or something to compensate her little talent... :o
Plus, she falls in love with a guy who could be her father.
Well, i think and hope someone takes out the trash in the next round to save women's tennis from a new low.
As for Witchmayer, she should retire after this embarrassing and shameful result.
