Last seven tournaments:
Rome - opening round loss
Brussels - win
RG - third round loss
Eastbourne - opening round loss
Wimbledon - final
Olympic games - opening round loss
Montreal - quarterfinal loss, having won only 3 games against an opponent she had beaten earlier in the year

Yes Wimbledon final is her lifetime achievement, but overall her form is nowhere near as rock solid as it was up until Madrid. Just a food for thought. I have no expectations going into the next 3 tournaments and just hope she finds her form again when the time to defend the Asian double crown arrives.

In Rome she lost to her nemesis Cetkovska, in RG she lost to a Kuznetsova in God mode (a player way better than her on clay anyway), in Eastbourne she lost to Grass super specialist Pironkova... Actually, only her loss to Goerges in the Olympics was quite surprising

Montréal was her first tournament on hard courts since Miami, and the conditions were not really good. She wasn't playing very well, that's a fact, but it sometimes happens. We'll see in Cincinnati...

Aga usually plays well in Asia, so she could make some damages there again. And after all, she doesn't need to defend her titles absolutely, deep runs will be good.

You didn't need to put such asterisks in the first few months, and she played quite a few players she had negative H2H against (eg. Wozniacki, Sharapova).

As for Cincinnati, it seems she'll need her form pronto as she'll possibly play against Paszek in her opening round.

If she is to be afraid of Paszek(on hard) she should change positions with Ula

Anything better than the recently traditional 2nd round exit @ USO will be good :P

She needs to gain confidence again...
perhaps a title would help ;)

I do think she is slumping. I don't think she played outstanding tennis this year at all, but she was able to pull herself together and stay consistent. She lost focus after Wimbledon. I am sure it took a lot of mental energy from her. She needs to get her focus back and then hopefully her form from Asia last year ;)

Definitely not playing well since making her first GS final.

At least she is winning some matches while not playing her best.

Even Aga acknowledged it :o

A-Rad struggling w/ surface change. "I think I need more matches on hard court, especially I'm not really playing my best tennis right now."

On the positive side - when baseline grinding was not working today, she was approaching the net far more frequently than usual. :yeah:

She looks tired, understandably. But she's still winning! It's not always pretty but she's getting it done :yeah:

She's having problems holding serve; I wonder if her shoulder is bothering her :awww:

Well, it seems that it's true... She took a MTO yesterday during her match against Li and her difficulties at serve and groundstrokes are likely due to her injury.

She even said that to Wiktorowski that she can't serve properly cuz her shoulder hurts.
