They should assign ranking points to it :D
That would encourage a stronger field, less WTA/ATP opposition and mean that players who often have freak wins at Hopman Cup can get the points to match it :)

I really love the format, as it gives players the opportunity to get some good matches even if they lose and to an extent takes the pressure off :)

I would love it if they'd consider Canada in the next few years...I mean with Milos being more and more popular and now that Genie is getting more and more known, that'd be a much better team then some of those. Much more popular too.

The only tournament this year where Kaia has played to her potential was Brisbane and she completely dominated everyone :lol:
I mean, she made a Premier SF, a GS QF, an International Final and an International title without even playing anywhere near her best IMO :shrug:

Usa probably shouldn't be the second seeds. Venus has not done much since coming back from injury only the 1 tournament win & may struggle against AMG, Isner is coming up against 2 very good players who should beat him. I would be surprised if they make the final.

Germany are short odds. Petkovic is a good player but quite erratic. Haas is a veteran but may struggle. 1 win only.

France team built around Tsonga. Arguably in the weaker group. If johannson plays well they may have a chance to progress.

Spain. A experienced pair. Both solid singles players and play good doubles together. My pick to progress from there group

South Africa. Can't really seeing them doing much. Maybe 1 win.

Australia. Good experience and match practice for 2 young players. Possibly could cause an upset if Tomic's head is screwed back on.

Italy. Unbelievable. How can this team be such outsiders on the odds is beyond me.

I believe Schiavone will beat Ivanovic, Djokovic will beat Seppi and Italy will win the mixed.
Also USA will be beaten in my opinion be beaten by Spain.

Last time Serbia was ended as the first in the group, but Ana was injured and that is why they did not play in the final.

I don't see why Serbia is so far ahead of America when to tell you the truth, if they played I think it would go like this:

Nole>John

I had a bet on a point in the garrigues vs johansson match and williamhill have cheated me out of alot of money as they have the wrong player to win the point and they will not budge with this. I watched the stream live but cant get full match highlights anywhere. Can anyone help? Once i have the video i can get my winnings. it was in set 2 and game number 4. Im willing to give £50 through paypal to whoever can get me the video :)
