This time no drama, no discussions and obviously not much interest in this match.
Great match from Julia and Anna-Lena. They are clearly the more experienced, better attuned team compared to Kerber/Lisicki.
Next match will be tough against Makarova/Vesnina. Good luck.

I'd love to see Anna winning a medal.

Impressive stuff from Julia and Anna-Lena, though Elena and Anne didn't make much of an impact. I felt sorry for Elena, crying at the end and still sitting down after her opponents had left the court. Not sure if it was because she lost at her home Olympics or because this could be her final time at Wimbledon, probably a combination of the two. Anyway, I'm glad with the result, hope Julia and Anna-Lena can do well.
