This would be a better poll if it included past members.

Maya Rudolph is my pick, but there's so many talented SNL players from the past that belong on this list well before the likes of Kenan and Seth.

None, SNL is trash compared to MadTV, I still don't know why they cancelled it. With MadTV I've LOLed countless times, with SNL, 0.

How can you compare a show that's been going on since the 70s to a topical show that lasted less than a decade. To say you've never laughed at any one of the sketches that SNL has produced over the past 40 or so years is funnier than anything that's occurred on Mad TV.

Different Strokes for Different Folks.

Just like Absolutley Fabulous and Friends.

Friends is apparently the epitome of Television Comedy, I struggled to watch an episode of it.

This. Different cultural background.

I'm a Chinese and I've never been to the States, I find it funny cuz I'm deeply affected by American pop culture, but still, sometimes when some random names drop out or some political news appear, I find it quite clueless.

While Friends kept a similar comedic style throughout it's run, SNL transforms sketch to sketch, week to week, year to year, cast to cast, decade to decade. To declare to have 0 laughs at any episode of SNL is a joke to me, because they hit a wide range of comedy within a 2 hour show let alone through its 40 hour run.

MadTV was hilarious but only when they had the cast of Stephanie weir, michael mcdonald, mo collins, those types

dot, stuart, lorraine, oprah, dr. phil, miss swan were all hilarioussss sketches but the show got really bad when they all left.

They really hit their stride when Nicole Sullivan, Michael McDonald, Alex Borestein, AND Debra Wilson were all on the show together.

Did you know Nicole Parker a former Mad TV cast member has actually starred on Broadway? Formerly played Elphaba in Wicked.

Not my favourite normally, but Rachel Dratch's "Debbie Downer" skit is my all-time favourite SNL moment. :sobbing:

People need to post/mention their favourite cast members "best" skit, or this thread is just boring. ;)

Yea, but about Kristen, OMG where do I even start.

The Gilly skit is classic. Always has been.

And then there's the sketch where she was the 4th daughter of Betty White in that episode, damn.

And she did Taylor Swift in that Beyonce Jay-Z bb skit with Maya.

And she did Drew Barrymore in "Bein' Quirky", when she said she's gonna name her bb girl "Ksskss":haha:

I loved Krsiten's Penelope skit, plus my favorite is probably the betty white muffin sketch, that was hilarious.
