Significant gaps marked by newlines.

I extracted above data from:

http://forums.interbasket.net/showthread.php?9287-Average-Male-Height-By-Country-Updated-%28official-data%29Scientific-research

All statistical data should be approached with caution, it is tempting however to note that the lowest levels of bitterness and hateful feelings are displayed in women's tennis forum generally by posters from those countries that are in the upper half of the list.

I don't get it? Why compare the data to Australia for example, our population is made up of a billion different ethnicities...so it doesn't really say anything about multi-cultural countries.

I agree with you. This is why I did not include the countries made mostly of "immigrants" in the tally. I provided the numbers for Australia, Canada, USA, and New Zealand solely for the curious.

Apparently the data were not available (no data for Bulgaria, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovakia either). I am sure there is not much difference between Montenegro and Serbia. In my personal experience Serbs and Croats were generally taller and bigger than their Slavic peers to the North.

Indeed they are! In Delft, I couldn't find a bike to rent where my feet would reach the pedals. :tears: I had to jump on and off which was particularly entertaining at traffic lights.

It's hard to believe in those stats. I have the impression that at least 80% of the men I know are at least 180 cm tall.

My thoughts, the only group of people I know that are significantly smaller in average are Sinti and Romanies.

Wonder what are the averages for Asians & Latins? I know in my country the average is like 172 cm or something like that but in reality there are people (males) who would barely make de 160 mark & then you find a "giant" of 185 cms. Country of contrasts. :sobbing:

It will be good if they can make the stats of people from 20 till 40ish, as they will be the present/future of the countries, and it´s a better idea of the new generations. Also, because old people can decrease in high with the years and compression of cervical discs ;)

For example in Spain, I know plenty of people 50+ shorter than 175cm, but to be honest I have to think thoroughly in order to find someone around 20-30 shorter than 1.75m :p

But in comparison Spain vs. Ireland (where I live), I find irish people slightly taller than spanish to be honest :)
