Thank god. She used to be my favourite player when she played hopman cup at 16 (I am dutch and have met her in the netherlands) and I almost broke down when I told my friend she couldn't play. But she's safe.

Good for her! Actually I'm pretty amazed that she's okay to play so soon after her op, but very happy for her that it is the case.

Nice. BTW, how fluent is Michaella in the Dutch language? I saw the video below and she speaks absolutely flawless Czech (she lives in Prague I think).

She's fluent in Dutch as well..so she's really bi-lengual.

Can she actually play or just the participation purpose.
Did anyone saw her on practice or something?

I've seen a photo of her on the practice courts and the knee has some very heavy support.
