Aussie French Open Coverage Question

I was wondering if any aussie posters know if any Network channels will have coverage to French Open or will it only be on Fox?

Yeah only fox. Channel 9 gave up. I can't believe we have a grandslam yet we don't have all of the slams televised :facepalm:

its even more ironic when we have a player who plays well on the said surface and at the event.

in the years Hewitt was #1 they always showed Wimbledon and US Open

we have sam who is a contendor (not huge but she is a contendor) yet we get no free to air of the french.

They only televise it when an Aussie reaches like QF above.

IIRC, they didn't televise any of sams matches leading up to the final. I have always had fox sports though s I would have just watched it on there. I don't even remember the final being on free to air

They definitely televised the semi with Jelena, and then the final, but yeah that was it. Channel 9 sucks ass.

You would think this being the first year since her Slam win one channel would invest in it. I guess they've realised it's not worth the investment.

Do they still show golf tournaments? I remember back in 2002-2003-2004ish, they used to air all the slams and golf tournaments on FTA channels even into the dawn when people are supposed to be asleep. But I haven't really watched TV on a regular basis since like 2006.
