For USA, it'll probably be shown on tape delay on Oxygen at 3am. Best bet is to cop a Eurosport livestream from fromsport.com.

are you talking about streaming or TV?

Dont expect they´ll show every tennis match in TV.
Internet livestream usually free from Olympics. And you can watch every single event. Just depends who is provider in your country. EBU in Europe usually, NBC in USA, etc...

"normally" those are illegal streams. You cant expect someone tell you now if you can watch them. Wait 70 days and check the streamign sites. :p

Slams usually has 5-6 courts with cameras. Dont expect more. Maybe even less.

Mostly if there is an unexpected live gold chance for Australia when they are repeating highlights of golds won a day before..

I imagine 9 will use three channels:

NINE - Prime channel - most Aust gold medal chances - especially swimming/athletics
GO - Team Sports - Aust matches in basketball, hockey, other
GEM - Maybe 'women's favorites' - eg gymnastics, diving, equestrian (tennis??)

Supposedly Foxtel's 8 channels will be:

LONDON 1 Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo
LONDON 2 Cycling - Track, Cycling - BMX, Cycling - Mountain Bike, Cycling - Road
LONDON 3 Gymnastics - Artistic, Gymnastics - Rhythmic, Gymnastics - Trampoline
LONDON 4 Athletics - Track
LONDON 5 Athletics - Field
LONDON 6 Equestrian - Jumping, Equestrian - Eventing, Equestrian - Dressage, Fencing, Table Tennis
LONDON 7 Rowing, Canoeing - Sprint, Canoeing - Slalom
LONDON 8 Beach Volleyball, Sailing, Football, Hockey, Weightlifting

Well - athletics track is really the main sport of the Olympics.

And - in the field events, we actually have a fair few chances of medals (ie Mitch Watt LONG JUMP, Henry Frayne TRIPLE JUMP, Benn Harradine DISCUS, Jarrod Bannister JAVELIN, Alana Boyd POLE VAULT, Dani Samuels DISCUS, Kim Mickle JAVELIN) - not that you (or anyone else) has heard about many of these people! :)

I have heard of Dani Samuels but no one else (is she the young girl who won world championships or something)

Yep - she was youngest ever (2009) World Champ in discus.

Watt is 2011 World Championships Silver, 2009 World Championship Bronze
Frayne is 2012 World Indoor Silver
Harradine is 2010 Commonwealth Champion
Bannister is 2010 Commonwealth Champion
Boyd is 2010 Commonwealth Champion
Mickle is 2010 World Cup Bronze

All ranked higher in medal chances than any Aussie tennis player (except maybe Sam).

In the US, Bravo is going to be the tennis channel.

Bravo, NBCUniversal’s fully distributed lifestyle cable channel, will act as the home of Olympic tennis this summer. The channel will televise 56 hours of long-form tennis coverage over seven days, from July 28-August 3. Live coverage will air from early morning until mid-afternoon (ET) on most days.

Pat O’Brien, a veteran of five Olympic Games as a commentator, will serve as host. London will be O’Brien’s fourth Olympics for NBC and sixth overall. He last worked for NBCUniversal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, the same year Bravo last carried Olympic competition
