"The Place", one of the most modern shopping malls in Beijing, will be home to an enormous activity area featuring a clay tennis court, two giant screens, a PR zone similar to the famous "Village" in Roland Garros and an entertainment area with a very Parisian flavour.
The atmosphere will be Roland Garros to the core, with fans able to watch tournaments featuring young players from local clubs, exhibition matches with the country's top players and even have tennis lessons of their own. And of course everyone will be able to watch matches live on the big screen as well as highlights from the previous day's action.
This event is being organised with the support of the FFT's partners – Lacoste, Longines and Peugeot – and in conjunction with the CTA. No fewer than 100,000 visitors are expected for this inaugural event.
Why are you such a dumbass?
