Sabine's chances to reach the SEWTA top 10 are running out ... she needs to have a good RG with her Birmingham and Wimbledon points dropping :tape:

You're not the only one. It's being going downhill fast after Wimbledon last year. She's coming back from injury so maybe she'll string some decent results the next months.

And to think that just last summer, people were saying Venus withdrew from the USO because she was afraid of Lisicki?
She sure did take some of you for a ride

great victory for Erakovic. Best win since beating Vika in Stanford last year.

A shame really. She's not much beyond a ball-basher but that serve was just :worship: I don't see her doing that much on grass either. She seems a mess.

So it works out well; she met her own expectations

It seems she got huge inspiration from being back after that long injury last year. That inspiration was gone after Wimbledon and now there's not much left.

Cant wait for her ranking to plummet after Wimbledon...Back to where she really belongs hopefully, well outside the Top 40...can't wait to hear the excuses this time....probably a paper cut that she was scared of, a distant bird chirp distracted her, etc...Can't wait for reality to set in on this chick....Angie and Mona are ten times better this year....Even Petkovic is better and she hasn't really played...Now THAT is saying alot....Hahahaha

Expected. She's always a mess whenever she's coming back from any type of layoff/injury.

I guess this wasn't very surprising as she was returning from an injury, but then again when isn't she?

What is up with Sabine? She has really fallen off this season. Coming back from injury is part of the game these days for everybody. I wonder if Sabine is taking enough time to fully recover from hers. Coming back too soon only insures more injuries in the future.

I hope Sabine can get and stay healthy. I really like this girl.

She's going to have this kind of career. Tremendous highs and WTF lows. She's even more inconsistent than Ana, which gives me hope for Ana, lol.

Sabine could do well to learn how to rally.

Ever heard of that is the most idiotic and moronic thing to do, meaning playing a big tournament with little practice...her brain injury must be as bad as that ankle injury...but thanks for the comment...more german morons at their peak...go help lisicki win a match and recover from her physical/mental woes instead of posting unintelligent and uninformed comments on here :wavey: She has bad losses this year to randoms that you cant justify with "oh, she was injured, out for weeks"....that is a tired ass excuse....she has been beyond abysmal this year with or without injury which is why Angie is ranked higher...nice try desperately grasping at straws though...Congrats

It seems to be a lot to do with the mental side with Lisicki. I know she was injured but she seems so fragile in the brain.

saw the match from 4-0 in the 2nd set.

she played relly, really, really bad.

service wasnt a weapon.

a lot of unforced, mostly with her FH.

she deserved to loose :s

Random loss to random player. But I still love Sabine, I can't help it. I will keep watching and hoping for to pick her form up in the coming weeks and then do something at Wimbledon. It wasn't easy for her to play that well after an injury lay-off and with a new racquet. Serve stats are still really down and disappointing to not even get past R1! Oh well more ammo for the Bine haters on GM.

I don't care how badly Bine plays, watch out if you're a hater! I'm watching you
