Stephens a pusher that must be even better than claycourter´s Parra Santonja as a mooballer.

like Chakvetadze is any good these days, don't understand some smilies here

Sloane does often "push" against lower ranked players, especially on clay, but I'm not one that thinks that "pushing" should have a negative connotation especially if it wins you matches. She's only aggressive in certain matches and against certain types of players. The important thing is she has the ability to control matches with an aggressive style of play if she needs to.

Congrats Sloane, hopefully she can really make a move up the rankings in the second part of the year!

I've seen her play enough times to make my own judgement, thank you:wavey:
As for Parra Santonja, I've just confused her with Llagostesr Vives...

Count on Sloane to flop at the Estorils of the world and then win matches at the big tournaments.

Sloane has a very odd trend...she ONLY wins matches are the very biggest of events(USO,Austrailian Open,IW,Miami,Rome) yet can't score a win at the "easy"/lower tier events.....

Sloane definitely kept the ball in play better last year, that's why she won so many matches on clay...this year not so much.

Great win for Sloane, too bad for Anna, but nice to see her qualify.

fuck all really. 3 tournaments on clay qualifying, 5 top 100 players beaten 70 points to show for it.

 Really goes to show how hard it is to work your way back. She'll get her breakthrough though.

She was never really a claycourter when she was the the top.

Great win for Sloane! Keep going.

 people expecting so much from anna this entire comeback. she's been physically/mentally a mess for sooo long we can't have that high of hopes. she needs to hit some lower events though and get her ranking up, there's no point in qualifying every week then losing her first match at these big events.
