Top 3 year ago are the biggest losers
(Caro -5169 i. e. more than half; Vera -4035, Kim -6802 but she barely started )
The biggest increase note Radwanska(+4204). Vika(+3595). Maria(+2449); Pętra(+2507) and naturally Kerber(+2298)
who year ago was on 70 position with 937 points. Naturally Aga and Angie had easier task starting from low position
Still their progress is amazing
And grenerally WTA is far from stability. It's a time of big and quite rapid changes

Kerber was barely in the top 100 :sobbing:

Thank god... Saint Sin and that other russian was #2 for WAY too long aren't missed in the top 10. Hopefully Bartoli joins them soon.

Have the points from Rome for last year's tournament been taken off or will they come off next Monday?

I like this one a lot more, 2011 was awful.

Serena added around 2800 points to her ranking between 2011 and 2012, which is more than Kerber.

Big move from Radwanska. Weak 12 months from Wozniacki, who was holding 8 titles a year ago. 5 Tier I's

Last year was a Hingis like year for Woz. Her game gave players problems. But her game is nothing but a matter of let me watch you lose. It gets old fast. We've seen it before and I'm shocked that she had 8 titles last year and we are about to be halfway through the year and she has 0?!? Doesn't speak of her game but everyone else's.

Apart from Radwanska, the top 6 look stronger than the previous year.

7 players of the top 10 are the same, so i'm not sure what you're talking about.

At least she wasn't no. 2 in the world (who won 2 more games). :help:

I think she was ranked in the 40's then wasn't she?

Jankovic Zvonareva Schiavone and Wozniacki... top 4 nonsense players inside top 10 in 2011...
Finally Jankovic and Schiavone are out of place that they don't deserve from 2 years...
Zvonareva's game crushed after 2nd half of 2011 when she received 4 painful tennis lessons from her nemesis Agnieszka...
And finally Wozniacki is out of everything: health, stamina, consistence and shards of power...
Her ashes are on the final way of leaving top 10 forever and ever.

Actually she won 1 more game you can't even count  why am I wasting my time with you?!
Don't even try to bring Kvitova in here she hasn't even reached 1 final this year come to me when your fave will be relevant, troll.

:awww: truth hurts doesn't it!

One game, 2 games, doesn't make any difference really. The only difference is that the world no. 2 gets drubbed continuously by a part-time old dinosaur  and the world no. 48 (as was at the time) lost/won 1 game, but won more in Wimbledon 2010 as a rookie, oh and also won Wimbledon 2011 as a rookie :tape:

I don't remember saying that Serena was an old dinosaur though and yes she got the better of Maria in their last meetings and she owns Maria but that's Serena(13 slams) she owns pretty much everybody.
Your fave is owned by Petkovic :tape:

What has happened to Schiavone on clay? I'm not expecting her to make it the the French Open finals for the third straight year. I'd be very surprised.
The Germans have come on strong this year
Maria is playing better and more consistently.
Li Na will not defend her title.
Slumping-Kuznetsova, Jankovic, Wozniacki, Zvonereva,
Stosur has been up and down
Kirilenko is climbing
