That cat is....a dog!

A question to cat owners: was the cat enjoying it?

It's American

And it's stupid to let the kid do that; you have to teach kids to respect animals at a young age. This could be one of those kids that ends up swinging the cat by its tail when it gets older

Maybe you are right

on the other hand the poster of the video wrote: "the cat approached her and laid down next to her, knowing from experience that this sort of loving mauling would follow"

maybe the cat enjoyed it...

It'll probably snap one day, just like any other animal (human included)

Oh well, it's not my kid... ;) At least I don't think

I love chubby cats :hearts:

I don't think the cat enjoyed it, I have never seen a cat who likes when a baby is kicking and standing on its tail. The cat was probably too big and tired to do anything.

My cat is very friendly, but she would have attacked that baby already after a few seconds

Probably. I mean, no sane person would let a baby play like that with a cat with claws.

The cat looks like its enjoying it. Her tail is wagging gently. I know cats wag their tails when they are angry/annoyed too but she didn't seem to mind it.

Cats can be very sweet and my cat is super sweet I would not mind my cat being near a baby. My cat takes abuse worse than that from me everyday.

Usually a cat will just walk away when they have had enough. But I will say that tail means the cat was starting to get annoyed, I would have tried to get the baby to be nicer if at all possible

I think the cat is so chill because it's poisoned from the smell of that baby thing's shitty ass diaper fumes. Babies are so gross.

Having changed thousands of diapers, I can attest to this. I CAN wait for grandkids. Quite a while, in fact.

That Cat's not fat! It's just big boned. My Taggie Waggie :hearts: has always been 17lbs and the Vet said he was not overweight. He had a large frame, maybe American Short hair cats are bigger type cats? I don't know.

The cat looked like he for the most part enjoyed the encounter. Cats don't endure things they don't like. That cat loves that baby. Now having said that, after the baby did it once the parents should've stopped the baby because you never know when the cat is experiencing pain or just having a bad day and just not in the mood.

Oh and I hope the cat's not declawed. :help:
