$150 an hour is cheap! Well, you see, I own a bordello. And I own the house where I run it. My husband, Ronnie, and I have a homestead exemption for our home because we live there, but I own the bordello house in my name only. The bordello house, I claimed a homestead exemption for to save on property taxes. Property taxes are a real bitch! I know I cannot legally claim homestead exemption for two homes, but they are in two different counties so at first I did not worry about it. No one has noticed. I am now kind of scared someone will find out, and I am not opposed to removing the homestead exemption for my bordello, but I do not want to raise flags, considering I run an illegal business there. Any advice?

Celeste - Close it down and buy a business which is above board and is slightly less immoral than the one you own now.

Like a corner shop, preferably a bungalow so you can't have "extras" upstairs.

P.S. You only have to raise flags if you want to conduct your point in semaphore.

Basically, snide or jokey remarks aside... can't you find anything else to make money from? I'm not gonna go all gung-ho and say that you should be hung-drawn and quartered for doing what you are doing but personally I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that the business I run is illegal.

Mind you I suppose you've made your bed and you should lie in it.

Prostitution is a victimless crime. I have been at it for years so I know how to get around the usual ways of being busted. You think Justine or Amelie have talented backhands? I am just as good at running a bordello. Total talent, based on inate ability and experience. What they do is legal, what I do is not, at least where I live, but talent is talent. I cannot deny my own talent, at least for long. It is all I know how to do. Running a bordello is what I know. I started hooking at 13. I do not know anything else. Fetish parties, fantasy parties, I can plan them all. And all of them work. I have guys paying money you would not believe for making their fantasies come true. What is wrong with that?

But now that I am a mother, I am looking to sell the bordello, but it takes some time to find a buyer. I dropped out of middle school. If it was not for an illegal activity, I could not make decent money. Ronnie bought me a hair salon, but it was too much work and not enough profits. I even cut Tee Rexx's hair once and we talked tennis, but, no, the hooking industry is real for me. Once I sell it, I am out of the business, but the right buyer has not come along.
