View Full Version : Celeb Big Brother UK

The six inmates just went in...

They are...

Goldie - Musical type...pencil him in for the Nigel Benn role...

Mark Owen - Ex Take That-er...wants to be him off Boyzone...

Les Dennis - Former Family Fortune's Legend(!) Likeable enough, if you like that sort of thing...seeks Jack Dee style popularity.

Sue Perkins - Of Light Lunch, Mel and Sue fame...I had hoped it would be her partner Mel going in, but Sue is likeable and funny in her own right...I heard she shares a flat with Rhona Cameron...wish I lived there too! Like to see her win. :)

Melinda Messeneger - Ex page three stunna and Fort Boyard host...smart than the usual bimbo, though the opposite of my type...probable winner?

Anne Diamond - 80's breakfast TV star...in there for that Vanessa Feltz effect???

Id like Sue to win...I think Melinda will.

Nov 20th, 2002, 10:29 PM
Melinda hopefully, more brains than every other page 3 girl ever

Les Dennis is okay, the others frankly boring, Sue is unfunny, Mark Owen, = nightmare

Nov 20th, 2002, 10:34 PM
I like Sue :) But that may be cos she's a lesbos icon too ;)

I've always liked Melinda Messenger.. Not your typical "glamour" model.

As long as either of them two win, I'll be happy :)

BTW, HOW big is Anne arse??!! Now we know why all previous camera angles of her were of the chest upwards - They couldn't find a camera angle big enough for her backside!!

Nov 20th, 2002, 10:35 PM
Sam Fox was far more astute than Melinda Messenger. How else did she make all those millions after a short page 3 career?

Surprised to see Goldie in there with so many has beens or e-list names. I think Mark Owen will win, especially if he gets his kit of for the girlies.

Wasn't Rhona Cameron on that celeb. jungle survival thing a few months ago. She's actually a talented comedian so I don't know why she's mixing with this lot!

Nov 20th, 2002, 10:58 PM
Les Dennis - Former Family Fortune's Legend(!) Likeable enough, if you like that sort of thing...seeks Jack Dee style popularity
Suppose Amanda let him out so she can have some quality time with Neil.

Nov 20th, 2002, 11:05 PM
After reading up a bit...it seems that Rhona Cameron and Sue Perkins, rather than being mere 'flatmates' went out with each other for years, though it ended a few months back...

I am SO slow on the uptake sometimes! It didn't even occur to me! :o

I like them both a lot, hopefully their shared experiences on reality shows might force them back together! :)

Or into my arms. Either/or. :)

Nov 20th, 2002, 11:26 PM
Useless fact of the day- Melinda Messenger used to be my former tutor at school's boss when they both worked in an office in Swindon years ago.

Sue to win, Sue rules *swoon*

Nov 21st, 2002, 12:29 AM
Well, well, well.... well.

I think it'll be between Les Dennis and Sue Perkins (whose name incidentally sounds like a packet of cigarettes).

Anne Diamond will be first to have a Vanessa Feltz style breakdown or be an absolute cow. Remember how Nick Owen used to look persistently f**ked off with her constant interruptions on "Good Morning with Anne and Nick"?

Melinda Messenger is likeable, she'll be the "lads" vote.

Goldie... when he speaks we'll never bloody hear him cos they'll be going to the chickens.

Mark Owen, seems a nice chap but a bit bland.

It should have been...

Shaun Ryder
Robert Kilroy-Silk
Terry Christian
Carol Vorderman
Judy Finnigan

With Shaun Ryder winning of course, the rest can go and live in... Greenland.

Nov 21st, 2002, 12:54 AM
Amanda wanted Les to be in there so she could go shagging random men again.

And Melinda rules, she's going to my Uni.

Nov 21st, 2002, 10:35 AM
the only one housemate who is the celebs is Melinda Messenger and she will win. the other are so boring they already drive me away from the TV.

nasty nick#2
Nov 21st, 2002, 10:36 AM
Wasn't there a guy called nasty nick there once?

Nov 21st, 2002, 10:40 AM
it's nasty nick, he chated, in the BB1, 3 years ago

Nov 21st, 2002, 10:50 AM
I'm not too impressed about the line-up.
I didn't even watch it last night.

Nov 21st, 2002, 11:26 AM
Goldie has taken to wearing a blonde wig this morning, and bursting into song...

I'm nominating Goldie to leave the Big Brother House, cos he is scary. :)

I think him and Anne will be nominated first...

Nov 21st, 2002, 11:55 AM
can't wait for the first nomination!! can't wait to see their face when they are up for eviction!!

"You are the weakest celeb, good bye"

Double Fault
Nov 21st, 2002, 06:36 PM
Anne Diamond = What hapened to her in the last few years?

Sue Perkins = I like her already

Goldie = Never heard of him

Les Dennis = Bland and boring

Melinda Messenger = Phwaor!!!!!!!

Mark Owen = Seems alright, if you like that sort.

I'd like Ms Mesenger to stay in as long as possible. Poor Anne Diamond. She looks really uncomfortable in her own body.

I think Sue Perkins will win.

Nov 21st, 2002, 06:57 PM
I'm bored already

Nov 22nd, 2002, 11:45 AM
Surprsingly, to date there hasn't been a row at all yet, which if it continues til tonight will put a quieter person like Sue in trouble....at a guess tonight might see three nominess...Anne Goldie and Sue...maybe Les too.

I thought the stuff with the digger was funny. :)

Surreal moment: The three girls at 3am in bed discussing literature and heavyweight philosophy...it was like a university seminar! Even more surreal that I was still watching! :)

Nov 22nd, 2002, 11:59 AM
you're amazing, Chris Ba!!!!

Nov 22nd, 2002, 12:14 PM
It's not a patch on last years!

Nov 22nd, 2002, 05:02 PM
You're right!!

Celebrity Big Brother sees ratings fall

Almost three million less people tuned in for the second night of Celebrity Big Brother.

Thursday night's live task show had 4.5 million viewers, 2.7 million less than Wednesday night.

It was beaten by both BBC1's Judge John Deed and Wire in the Blood on ITV.

The BBC1 show attracted 5.7 million viewers, while 5.4million tuned in to ITV1 show reports Media Guardian.

Izzy!! Fellow Bronzer! My aunt (in Swindon!) knows someone who knows Melinda Messenger... err, is anyone actually interested in THIS Melinda Messenger connection? :o ;)

I haven't seen any coverage since the celebs first entered the house but I thought Mark Owen was quite funny when the crowd started cheering and he said something like "That brings back memories". GSOH, Take That man! ;)

I think that Mark or Les will win!!

Nov 22nd, 2002, 05:49 PM
My f/m8 is watching this alot on E4, i want the sports and music channels back - and i will over the weekend :)

Ohhh, I think watching Kerrang!! at top volume is MUCH more fun... ;)

Nov 22nd, 2002, 06:00 PM
Well................not sure about Kerrang, this nu metal stuff doesn't appeal to me, the odd song maybe and Linkin Park but gone are the days of classic rock such as Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Whitesnake

Instead i flick (that's F and L not U in flick) through the 15 or so channels looking for various artistes to enjoy (both musically and otherwise :p)

Before i lose the TV again :(

Princess Fiona
Nov 22nd, 2002, 06:06 PM
Me? A nu metal fan? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :o     I turn over the TV when THAT comes on!! (It's either that or the screen gets SMASHED.. ;))

Btw, there was a Take That video on VH1 earlier today and now I've had Everything Changes in my head on and off all day... argh!! :)

I certainly hope that you don't lose the TV... I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of life in this Celeb BB... *crossing fingers* :)

Nov 22nd, 2002, 06:11 PM
Take That! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

Celeb BB should be banned, lol, well kick Goldie out for starters

Thank You Please

Nov 22nd, 2002, 07:07 PM
Sue to win for definite - and i thought the sue - rhona relationship thing was now over???

I loved her in light lunch and i still do :D:D - gosh that programme kept me sane during my finals :)

Nov 22nd, 2002, 07:15 PM
If your a real fan of the show check out this forum

some people are really obsessed with it already!

Nov 22nd, 2002, 11:05 PM
Goldie and Les up

Please get rid of Goldie, sooooooooooooo fake

Nov 23rd, 2002, 01:05 AM
yeah, get Goldie out, he's f*cking annoy me!!!

Yeah......sooooooooooooo fake than Jade!!!!!

Nov 23rd, 2002, 11:15 AM
There was a tense atmosphere for much of the night...Goldie and Les had laughing fits and giggles for most of it...often about nothing in particular...this was funny for a few minutes but soon became a bit creepy...rest assured, they are NOT happy...

Sue was the one I felt sorry for, she was the only one who felt genuinely guilty about the voting process...I think Sue is just too nice for a show like Big Brother, she spent much of the night sewing with Goldie and Les...unburdening her guilt and angst, though not able to say she voted for them both...while they cackled away in a vaguely menacing fashion...

Anne seems very harsh and unsypmathetic...

Nov 23rd, 2002, 11:19 AM
I can't believe anyone watches such trivial crap

I haven't seen any episode of any BB :)

Nov 25th, 2002, 10:42 PM
Les lost the challenge (a touch suspiciously!) then nominated Sue and Anne for eviction...I very much hope Anne goes...its a 50/50 thing...

I was sad to here that Sue and Rhona are actually at each others throats a bi these days...Sue was clearly still very angry with Rhona, saying that Rhona basically 'outed' here after "Im a celebrity" and that living with her for the last year was a war...

I really like them both, so Ill stay neutral on that one!

Double Fault
Nov 25th, 2002, 10:59 PM
I thought Sue would have been more confrontational. I was wrong on that!

I quite like Anne Diamond. I judged her all wrong. That will teach me to judge a book by its cover. Listening to her story about her son who died from cot death was soooo sad. She's a strong woman. And I like strong women.

Nov 26th, 2002, 10:42 AM
I want Sue to win:D

Nov 26th, 2002, 02:25 PM
Sue and Rhona!!!, isn't it like a couple of 2 top gay men??
do they(lesbian) have something to call like 'top' / 'bottom' or they all 'versatile'??? My knowledge about gay women is very limited though my sister is one of them, we never talk about this :)
Anyone can tell me?

Nov 26th, 2002, 10:31 PM
I think both Sue and Rhona are gorgeous, much more my type than Melinda...

Anne went in a close vote, but then poor Sue was nomnaited again, along with Mark, which I feel means Thursday marks the end of her time in the house...

It was good to see Mel Giedroyc there...I suspect if she were in the house, we might have the winner, cos she is brilliant.

It was downright stupid and cruel of all 3 housemates to nominate Sue so soon after her survivng the vote, especially Les whose constant bids for sympathy are wearing thin too...added to which is the slight chance that he bodged up that quiz on purpose.

I guess when Sue goes Ill switch to Mark for my support...

Its funny how opinions change...I thought Goldie claiming that Melinda has a touch of the 'Vader' about her was silly...yet now her sunny smiling thang is starting to wear thin. She is cheerful and ever smiling, but her lack of sympathy and GENUINE understanding is striking, she is oddly plastic at times...I fear she will win it all...

Nov 26th, 2002, 10:40 PM
Malinda to win :bounce: :bounce:

Nov 26th, 2002, 10:41 PM
I can't stand this, my f/m8 watches it and it's soooooooooooooooooo boring

I really don't care who wins

Nov 28th, 2002, 02:31 PM
After a bad couple of days Sue seems a bit brighter today, I know think she knows that she is pretty much certain to go tonight, and just wants to get it over and done with..

I hope she doesn't end up regretting the expereinece, goodness knows our tabloid press are scum, and always looking to stick the knife in.

Yesterdays she was very much fed up of Les and Melinda...quite rightly...

Melinda has a creepy Oompa Loompa vibe about her...

Princess Fiona
Nov 28th, 2002, 02:36 PM
I really like Sue... I've really warmed to her! I don't have a prob with any of the celebs at all... I feel a little sorry for Les Dennis because he seems to be "feeling the strain"...

Some of the press coverage has been horrible  - it takes a brave soul to do this...

Sue supporter here!! :wavey:

Nov 28th, 2002, 03:10 PM
Well done Franziska! :)

Sadly she has precisely no chance of surviving the eviction tonight...maybe if she were against Les...

One bookmaker has her at odds of 100/1 to win the show!

Melinda (aka Barbie Skywalker) is favourite...its a mad world!

The problem with Melinda is that she is actually the tougest person on the show, but so tough, so focused that she has little GENUINE regard for others feelings. The other problems with her is that she is bright orange, that her mouth is wider than her head, and that she has a heart of silicone... :)

My problem with Les is that he voted cruelly, 3/3 for Sue, who he keeps on insisting he likes...and that he has a desperate need to be centre of attention...

Mark is nice enough, all in all.

Nov 28th, 2002, 03:13 PM
Not Melinda please...noooooooooooooooo!

I don't care who wins, but not Melinda, she gets on my tits (not silicone, in fact, i have no tits)

Nov 28th, 2002, 10:21 PM
Poor Sue has left the Big Brother house, and brought and end to my constant viewing on E4.

Such a top lady though, bring Light Lunch back RIGHT NOW!!!!

Like to see Mark win now...I am very anti-Les and Darth Messenger...

Princess Fiona
Nov 28th, 2002, 11:30 PM
VOTE OWEN!! :D :D :D Mark Owen to win!!

I hope... :)

Nov 28th, 2002, 11:32 PM
Mark Owen must win, and i don't really like him, Les and Melinda suck

Nov 29th, 2002, 01:49 AM
Melinda is really annoying me *slap*

Nov 29th, 2002, 03:42 PM
Melinda to wins!!! :bounce:

Nov 29th, 2002, 03:48 PM
actually, none of them is my favourite, some of them not even celebrity to me!!!!

I'd like Melinda to win because she the one who likely to get nothing from this 'grad c- celeb chance to rejuvenated their careers program' :(

Princess Fiona
Nov 29th, 2002, 06:08 PM

:bounce: :bounce: VOTE OWEN! :bounce: :bounce:

Princess Fiona
Nov 29th, 2002, 06:16 PM
I don't know... I think it takes guts to go on a show like this (I couldn't do it  ) and it's raising lots of money for chari-deeee... :)

I believe Mark Owen has already been offered new recording contracts (good for him!) but I don't know what'll happen to the others... Poor Les Dennis has had his marriage (and mental health!) scrutinised in the media and Anne Diamond has been attacked over her weight (BAD media  ). Again, takes a brave soul to participate...

MARK OWEN TO WIN!! :) :) ;)

but the other contestants deserve a lot of credit too :)

Nov 29th, 2002, 10:44 PM
Melinda 3rd!

Nov 29th, 2002, 11:02 PM
Les 2nd!

Mark Owen wins! What a surprise :p

Nov 30th, 2002, 12:15 PM
Out of that final three I was glad to see Mark win. :)

Nice to hear him say that Sue was his best mate in the house. :) :) :)

Sue still rules, such a cool lady. :) :) :)

It was between Mark and Melinda from Day one

Just glad Melinda didn't win, she is soooooo annoying
