Ysaline what was that? :o

It's not all that bad ;) Goffin looks really promising.
And Tammy just beat Brengle!

Promising? Losing to Starace and Andujar recently? Sorry but i don't find it promising, i saw him play few times and i want to think as you when i see him playing but i just can't when i see this kind of loss

Well done Tammy, that's a good win!

Well who did you expect to do better this year?

Ysaline happens to be the one whose results have been a pleasant surprise so far this year.
I hoped for a lil more consistency from Tammy, but we'll see how that develops.

Indian Harbour Beach - $50,000

R2 (WC) Alexandra Kiick USA vs. Tamaryn Hendler BEL

The draw has opened up nicely here. All seeds are already out in her quarter. Second round against a local WC, possible QF against Grace Min or LL Shelby Rogers.

One match at a time... But a good opportunity to give her ranking another boost! Come on Tam!

I feel that she'll lose against Kiick, the young american is promising.. And if Tammy can lose againt Vekic or Namigata she can clearly lose this one  Still no news on twitter and the match started 2 hours ago btw.. But i really want her to win :sobbing:

Sam.
May 3rd, 2012, 05:22 PM
Indeed she lost :help:
An easy win for the american apparently.. Ok she's promising but please :o

Tammy, forget Brussels and Roland Garros and take it as an advice ;)

The worst is when you watch the livestream of this tournament and that you see that all these girls are a bunch of bad players :help:

Tammy Hendler
Disappointing match, didn't perform the way I would have liked but that's just part of the game. As much as I hate to say can't win them all

If we can't even hope for a good result anymore with a draw like this, I'm afraid we never can

But what are the other options? Should they just all give up and stop playing? Ok, the players we have now or no GS-winners (or even GS first round winners :tape: ) and they disappoint more often than they score huge upsets, but we do not have better at the moment. So apart from the occasional :(, :o,, :tape:, :help: and  smiley, we should try to support them and hope for better days to come ;-)

Better 10 Tammy's, Alisons, An-Sophiekes, Ysalines, ..... than 1 Wozniacki :p

Go girls :D

Still, bad loss ;)

Tammy said on twitter that she is sick and that she wasn't feeling great during her match.

Always a nice excuse ready. That sounds really like her. Even Devries said during Fed Cup, she needs to be fitter. Until she understands that, she's never going to be a real top-200 player...
