Being a catholic is a result of unawareness. Agnieszka Radwańska is ridiculous with her shallow catholicism and making word "Jesus" from the tennis balls. Ms Radwanska is aware of her tennis but not of her faith. Every inteligent man who would get to know about the truth about Church, would stop believing. If I asked her about faith doctrines, she wouldn't know anyone. Similarily she doesn't know for sure any encyclical of John Paul II. I think that her as many Poles, doesn't understand much the catholicism.

 What a star, now even her faith is being discussed. :help: Polish swamp... It goes too far.

these things happened way before she's winning a slam/reaching #1. I wonder what will happen when she achieves either one.:oh:

Some catholic priest are really idiots. So she is catholic but her faith is not what the priest think it should be so he openly criticied her.
So you are not a real catholic if you don't read encyclicals of John Paul II? well, i think if that's the case, there are very very few real catholics in the world

He is right, she's a sportswoman and should not engage herself in politics(such as the latest parade...). If she was just doing her thing he would probably not say that.

I think the last thing Aga wants for her marketability is being stereotypised as a PiS-girl. Unless she wants to promote tennis at TV Trwam.

Attending anniversary of the plane crash is hardly engaging in politics. Publicly stating that she's Christian is hardly anything wrong either, it's not like she actively proselytizes people. Although Robert's political declaration a couple years back was just  I think they learned their lesson not to make such statements anymore.

Alternatively, we can see return of the nickname Pisia :oh:

Clearly, the faith has a low profile there if comments made by a young tennis superstar attract such a rebuke. Perhaps if words out of that angry orifice were to be more oriented towards actually spreading the message of the religion in question there would be more bums on seats to preach to, less sinners and a higher profile for the faith where it counts - in the minds of the faithful, not in the popular media. Who cares what a harmless young tennis superstar thinks about such issues! Let her say her bit and move on FFS.
