"I'm very happy to have pulled out the win today. Alina (Patersson) had a lot of support and played an incredibly solid match. I think it was just a matter of a few points here and there, and staying focused during the tiebreak. So, yeah. I'm very happy to be moving on. But, it's always tough to play Siri (Cornetsson). She's my best friend on the tour and, of course, my doubles partner. So, you never like having to face off on the opposite sides of the net. But, I hope we'll give the crowd a good match and, honestly, it's kind of nice knowing one of us will go through to the semis. Of course... I hope it's me. (*laughter) But, I'll be happy for her if she wins, too. So, it'll be all good. I'm looking forward to it."

Harper Johnson in post-match interview following her 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (1), victory over wildcard Alina Patersson of Sweden.

Siri in both finals of Copenhagen

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d18/drimal_/bad_gastein_cornet_medium.jpg
Will there be a happy end for Siri?

Siri Cornetsson moved to both finals of Copenhagen and proved that regardless of her form she is a tough cookie in Scandinavia. After winning her home title in Bastad 2011 can she fulfil her dreams of winning another Scandi-title?

"It's the first time I am playing in my neighbour country. During past seasons it was placed stupidly inmidst the grass season. I like that I get support from the crowd here and that there are many Swedish supporters in the stands."

In both finals Siri Cornetsson has to play against the experienced Ruflina Taliamanosoko. In doubles Siri and Harper have depressing stats in finals and haven't won a doubles title since Palermo 2011.

"The last thing I need is to fail closely in both finals. I have gone through tough weeks and feel a bit empty at the moment. A title would be a moment of joy again. I will fight hard and we will see how it goes."

Asked about the Fed Cup of next week Siri, the Swedish captain revealed: "My fellow Swedes are playing so well this season. I think the fairest is to let Mia, Alina, Miranda and myself play the singles matches."
