*feels really uninteresting following up Hamster*

My great grandmother on my moms side, was full native canadian, from a tribe in Quebec - however, because she adopted off my grandpa, we dont' know a lot about her.

The other half of that half ;) is English.

My fathers family is English and Scottish or Irish. We're not positive.

Well, both my grandfathers are from West Flanders, my ancestors never moved far, they basically stayed in the same village for centuries. Both my grandmothers are from East Flanders (which is in the West of the country, BTW, East of West Flanders). I was born in West Flanders (Bruges) but grew up in East Flanders close to the border with West Flanders. My mom grew up in West Flanders (same city as Xavier Malisse), my father in East Flanders.

So far my attempt at making my uninteresting heritage interesting and diverse :winkey:

French of Vietnamese origin. More or less Buddhist heritage, even though it is more a philosophy of a religion, and certainly part of that philosophy has come through. Besides, being born and raised in France, being a "Western" classical musician, makes me receptive to some aspects (if mostly cultural and aesthetical, more than religious) of Christianity and Judaism. I much appreciate the little I know of Islamic art and architecture. Well...

As a side note, I have been to Malta and Croatia and loved both.

:) at Kiwi_boy. We Presbyterians always claim there are far more of us than any official census ever counts --- even Presbyterians can't spell Presbyterian, and census workers certainly can't, so people just put down Pentecostal. LOL :)
