Isn't this like the 4th or 5th tournament in a row he's going to lose to him? It seems like that

At least DelPo won their most important meeting

Hmmm, I don't know who to cheer for again because of those retarded Serbian ancitards - I might need Shriekarenka as the last line of defense from Her Anciness should Maria go insane as she sometimes does. Well, thanks to JAS, that's my list as well now. Otherwise, it would have been less annoying to see Ana win a fluke title after 4 years since it's pretty certain she'll go back to irrelevance soon enough, while only god knows what Azarenka will do if she keeps winning - start wearing a crown during matches, film a Tv ad for Turkish airlines... :scared:

Anci's retirement record is quite underrated.

Well, she was retiring against top 10 mostly and mostly when she was in form (SF of Cincy 2010 against Kim, R4 of W 2009 against Vee, QF of Beijing against Aga, now this). When you're not relax, when you feel anxious or whatever, the body is injury-prone. And I don't believe that Maria would be bitchy about it, she had so many problems with injuries herself.

The Ice Queen doesn't cry (except perhaps when she needs ice-cubes for her drink) and doesn't approve of peasants who do engage in such an embarrassing activity.

However, it's anybody's guess why she disapproves of Her Majesty as well, since HM doesn't cry either in case her mascara isn't as water-proof as advertised.

How 'bout the final of YEC in 2007 against Henin? She was crying. She looked pretty desperate after the final of AO this year too.

And what about ''Is her name Jankovic?''?

I don't know, I didn't pay too much attention, but I think that Masha doesn't take MTOs very often, maybe she thinks it's a gamesmanship. It often is, tbh, but not in JJ's case, JJ played 100 matches in 2007, a female body can't work that way. So, it was really a very rude comment from Maria.

I don't think she faked the injury, but I do think (although, I can't know for sure, obviously) it's at least partly psychosomatic with her. She's completely neurotic (not that I'm the one to point finger for that, but she clearly is ), she has such mood swings on the court, from euphoric reactions to meaningless points against scrubs to apparent complete apathy throughout a winnable match (for example, the one she played in Dubai with Wozniacki). Also, when she's all pumped-up about the match for whatever reason, she tends to get something resembling panic-attacks if the things are not going her way (in the match she played with Jelena at the YEC, and in some others) or goes all hysterical about an injury or ache which might not require a withdrawal in reality. my impression is that she was too excited about this match (for obvious reasons) and when she realised (or at least persuaded herself) that she won't win it (and let's be honest, knowing her and Maria's mentality, she didn't stand much chance after losing the first set), she started imagining that her leg is about to fall off. Of course, her injury might be legit, but IMO this happens too often with her and the scenarios are too similar.
Jelena has a similar problem - when she wants out of the match for whatever reason, she starts getting phantom aches. It's as if she wants an excuse for both herself and the fans so badly, her body starts imagining it really has some problem. I don't think that either her or Ana fake injuries, I think they imagine them when they don't want to be on the court anymore. Someone in GM also gave Lisicki as an example of this, and it sure looks like it, but she's still young, she may grow out of it.
Or I juts see everything through the warped glass of my own psychosomatic problems. :tape:

Some of these things are true. She certainly has panic attacks. The dizziness and breathing issue, blood pressure monitoring in the middle of the game... and she continues playing when the doctor confirm that her bp is OK. If that's not anxiety, what can it be? And injuries can also be somewhat psychosomatic. Ana's playing style is not physically demanding. That toss is awful, but I don't believe it can cause some big problems like Safina's, Maria's or Petko's slow motion. There's no "technical" reason (not sure I translated my thoughts well) for her to be injury-prone. Maybe the weight issue, she's not anorexic or something, but I have an impression that she lost many kilos in like 2 months during the off season in 2010 and she got injured right in the beginning of 2011... Interesting fact: she got injured during the match against Henin... So, yeah, she might be putting too much pressure on herself.

Edit: serve motion, obviously, not slow motion... Although it really looks like slow motion

Yes, her build is very sturdy. I don't get the weight-loss, she moved extremely well for that big a girl, and now she lost some power and perhaps made herself injury-prone, while gaining nothing.
Just saw the Ana-Maria highlights. It looks as if they both actually played pretty well. And I think Ana's undoing might well have been those two AJDEEEE!!111!!1s at 3-3. :scared: Now I hold hope Sharapova can will herself to somehow get Shrieky. She can even tell her it's her home afterwards, I won't mind.

I agree with Brena that it can be psychosomatic issues. And I think Ana is aware of it. That's why she cries and probably feels frustrated each time she retires or has some somatic problems. And I wouldn't call it hypochondrical behaviour, looks more hysterical to me. Don't know how much does it affect her life in general and if it's only the case of playing a match but it looks like it can be a real problem. And if the problem is recognized, then she should be on a therapy. That loss of weight is really a worrying thing btw.

Don't know how much does it affect her life in general and if it's only the case of playing a match but it looks like it can be a real problem. And if the problem is recognized, then she should be on a therapy. That loss of weight is really a worrying thing btw.

Polish expert (:oh:) said during her match against Marion that loss of weight doesn't have to be a problem. Of course she probably will have problems in long matches, but she will be faster and something more... But I have to admit she looks very athletic. It's obvious she worked really hard to be in shape.

She is a bitch, she said it also few days ago.

:tape:

There are players who have a game to stop her. Kim can play Azarenka's game way better than she does. JJ and Mona can play really smartly and make her fall apart, but they are both mental midgets. Kvitty when she's on God mode... The only remaining option is a big hitter who can construct points. The only obvious option is Serena, but she can't beat Makarova these days. Is there any big hitter in today's game who can construct points? Ana, of course, but her self-confidence is a joke.

Unfortunately, the only players who have the game to trouble her are half-retired or mental midgets. The streak will end once her level drops.

That was one of the most hilarious chokes I've ever seen (well, it's obviously not that hilarious if you're Canadian :sobbing:), and you can't even imagine how their fans are serious about curling - they were ready to lynch their poor skip who screwed up (twice). Also, the crowd's behaviour boarded on hooliganism :haha: - when the Swedish team called for a time-out, they would all start yelling so that they couldn't hear each other. They also booed and tried to distract the Swedish players while they were preparing for a throw. :sobbing:

LMAO at Azarenka being humble. Her celebrations after beating Sharapova and Radwanska were anything but humble.

She is so annoying; especially when she wastes all her energy on someone she can't stop thinking about

Until Caroline was #1 it was obvious she would never lose to Radwanska. Agnieszka is her BFF so even with score 60 50 40-0 she would eventually lose to Woz. Woz really needed wins over Radwa to remain #1.

Now Wozniacki will lose every match with Aga. Aga needs wins over Wozniacki to not lose her TOP4 status.

It's that I know a couple of people from Herzegovina and their sense of humour is similar to yours, really alike, and that's what features Herzegovina's people. I'm sorry for disturbing you if I did, but I had no wrong intentions. It was even a compliment.
@Cajka
I don't know what you meant with your post, but it was clear that I didn't think about his accent or his 'speech'. You are unnecessarily rude, because my question was not embarassing, it was your comment that was redundant.

No, I wasn`t saw it as disturb.
It is all okay.
Now I know that You meant it by sense of humor.
But I must admit that I don`t know much people from there, so I don`t know what is
they sense of humor.
Everything`s fine.

With her current form there is possibility she won't have money even to buy fakes Versace. And she still needs money to build her fake residence in San Diego.

Can you please take out Watson from your signature? Not that she stands much chance anyway, but still...

I have yet to see this Mona-girl play, but Patrick's description sounds promising - if her style's reminiscent of Chakvetadze and Jelena, I'm interested. I want a young player who is not a bully (either in terms of her on court demeanor or her playing style). Some variety and personality would be nice too. are there any youngsters you guys know of that fit this description?

Then she'll buy a fake fake-Versace purse that looks like a real Chinese-fake, but is actually made in Serbia.
As for her fake-mansion, she can always sell it to Azarenka and buy a trailer in Tennessee.

I posted a match against Kerber in "JJ cheering thread". I believe it's enough to see 5 minutes of the match to figure out if you like her. On court intelligence (don't laugh) is similar to JJ's and her groundstrokes are effortless and clean (like Anna's). The nice thing is that she has a better serve than JJ and Anna. She doesn't grunt, she doesn't scream. Other youngsters? No. They are all aggressive grinders who scream like Jakšić and Čurović.

I was too sad yesterday to watch the video, but I will when I get home. Thanks for posting!
Bleh, it's hopeless. I'm not even interested in watching rickety Serena, Venus and Clijsters drag themselves around the court against some mugs. Serena's losing the USO final to Stosur was clearly the sign of the tennis apocalypse that has now come. :bigcry:

I post it here, cause it's muttering thread :oh:

Unless you people were there, speculating based on a livescore is pointless. I saw JJ and Sveta in person yesterday.

JJ looked listless and unspirited from the beginning. Could have been Serena or Brie Whitehead and she'd have been in trouble.

Sveta played well in spots, fought hard as she always does, but Benesova came up with the goods when she had to. No shame in that.

I had no idea who Mona was until this year, I just noticed people from GM bitching about her "ugliness". It was a nice surprise when I watched her for the first time. And she's no ugly at all. That skin needs some help as soon as she earns the money, but that's it.

I think it's because some of them are insecure teenagers who think they should look like celebrities from air-brushed magazine covers so they feel better about themselves when they mock someone else's appearance, and some of them are grown-ups but tragically retarded. :)

I hope Serena somehow mauls them all. After million-year-long break, emaciated (:oh:), taped up and cranky Serena vs. the field of pseudo tennis-players + a rickety Clijsters & a half-dead Venus.

I don't know if they're any good at tennis but they apparently have the right (disgusting) attitudes to be successful on today's tour. JJ Express showed me another video of Jaksic and it's hilarious how slow she is, it doesn't even look like running what she does, more like stumbling left and right. Davenport is Ussain Bolt compared to this girl. :sobbing: Curovic is half-Serbian, half-Russian which means she's probably so crazy that she'll get banned from tennis by the time she reaches seniors.
