TC #5 -- Miami - Congrats Shaddad and Dynamo Morpork

The singles competition:

Each committed players send picks to the game manager for all matches included in the daily OOP. The players pick the winners and the set ratio of all matches. Picking the correct winner gives 2 points, picking the correct winner with correct set ratio gives 3 points. The player who collects the most point at the end of the tournament is the winner.


The team competition:

Each team starts with 5 members. There are two discard days, at the end of the tournament 3 players per team are remaining. The weekly results of those 3 players (and only those) add up. The team which collects the most points wins the competition. In case of tie number of correct picks decides. Picking the correct winner gives 2 points, picking the correct winner with correct set ratio gives 3 points.

Discards:
At the end of the discard days team captains nominate a player (PM or in the thread). If captain does not nominate any then the worst picker of the day will be left out. (A team is disqualified if there is more than one person discarded with 0 correct pick)

Play starts on the day of first main draw matches, discard days:

1. discard after R2 matches
2. discard after R4 matches

A completely different scoring could be interesting, I just like that new game as u have more chances there, it is nice to see how u pick during a whole tournament, in TT u are usually out after having a bad day but here u just can make your picks throughout the whole week, that´s fun :D :lol:
