My buddy I Pee In Your Gas Tank Boi has a Bassat Hound that has ears like that. Everytime he gives the dog his chow, he has to tie his ears in a bow, so that the dog can eat his chow without his ears dropping in the bowl.

Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them o'er your shoulder
like a continental soldier?
Do your ears hang low?

Do your ears hang high?
Do they reach up to the sky?
Do they droop when they are wet?
Do they stiffen when they're dry?
Can you semaphore your neighbour
with a minimum of labour?
Do your ears hang high?

Do your ears flip-flop?
Can you use them for a mop?
Are they stringy at the bottom?
Are they curly at the top?
Can you use them for a swatter?
Can you use them for a blotter?
Do your ears flip-flop?

Do your ears hang out?
Can you waggle them about?
Can you flip them up and down
as you fly around the town?
Can you shut them up for sure
when you hear an awful bore?
Do your ears hang out?

hvis dine ører henger ned
kan du ta den å vifte med
kan du knytte dem ganske lett
eller binde dem rett og slett
kan du ta dem på ryggenåbære
dem som en litensoldatmedgeværet
hvis dine ører henger ned
;)

It was a single hit in Norway in the 70`s

verse 2:
Og hvis nesa di er rett
og du ligner en hakkespett
kan du ta på deg sorte fjær,
og spise små rognebær
kan du gå i den Zoologiske hagen
å være der gratisheledagen
til nesa di blir lang

ååååå hvis nesa di er lang.............

So sing along
here is the rest of the song:

Å hvis nesa de er lang
kan du bruken som fiskestang
kan du kaste så langt du vil
hele snøret og enda litt til
kan du dra opp torsk og laks
og ei flyndre hvis du har flaks
hvis nesa di er lang

final verse, not for the faint hearted:

Og hvis rumpa de er stor
kan du bruken som spisebord
kan du dekke på kopper og fat
og servere den fineste mat
kan du be med deg mor og far
på hummer og russisk kaviar
hvis rumpa di er stor

that´s it

Actually, I think it's more like Swedish (obviously), and as i've watched the movie "Fucking Amal" about 100 times, I can understand some Swedish now, and so I can figure out some of the lines in the text! *wink*

Norwegian is more like Duch than Swedish, the intonation is a little bit more similar. That counts for the dialects on the south coast of Norway. But Norwegian and Swedish are so similar, that you might not rekognise it inkyfan.

hmm maybe it does sound more like Dutch. I've not actually heard Norwegian spoken, but I can say it doesn't look very similar to written Dutch! ;)
