Alize choked as usual :awww:
WTF is her problem? I don't know why she gets so nervous...There's NO pressure on her anymore because she's already hit rock bottom and no one expects anything out of her anymore anyways

That loss to Safina at AO while leading 5-2 (?) in the third really fucked her up mentally.

You really think it caused her to fall this low?

Losing to a journeywoman like Brianti is bad, it is really bad. That said losing to a Cornet is just the most unforgivable sin any tennis player could ever commit.

Definitely. Same thing happened to Paszek the year after.

I think about win for Alize, take 2.50 odds - won first set and broken Brianti in first game of the second set, odds dropp for 1.15 and I lay my 2.50 back. thanks for the money Cornet, but you are huge mug.. Winnable match

the cornet collapse i remember was vs sevastova in monterrey 2010. she had about 10 mps in the 2nd set, missed them all and eventually lost 6-1 in the 3rd

Do you mean the year before (Paszek's choke against JJ in 2008?) or was there another choking of hers :sobbing:

Well done Brianti.

Roddick has won on clay ,doesnt mean he's useless on the stuff.

give me a goddamn break.Andy Roddick is absolutely useless on clay. When was the last time he won on "clay" in Houston? 2005

his record at the MS on clay?

Monte Carlo: 2-2
Rome: 14-8
Madrid/Stuttgart:5-8

Roland Garros: 9-9

.....I think TBE meant to say "doesn't mean he's not useless on clay"

Anyways, Brianti may be a journey woman, but she's not at all a bad tennis player. just a big brainfarter with very low selfesteem. Her game itself is much better than her ranking would suggest IMO.
