Really surprised about Edina's play so far this year. Didn't know what (if anything) to expect from her post-marriage but she seems to have proven she still has a fair bit more tennis left in her.
As for Slava, what can I say? The results have hardly been encouraging. In the one live match I saw periods of pretty decent play were overshadowed by patches of absolutely terrible play and now in this match Slava retires injured.
To put it bluntly, sadly, I don't sense a return to the top 100 is imminent.
