All 8 quarterfinalists have 6 WTA titles combined. Foretz,Erakovic,Tsurenko and Lepchenko have a chance to win their first WTA title.
This field probably will get critized, which is unfair. Most of these players are good indoor players or like fast surfaces, but don't have the opportunity to earn alot of points because the WTA is killing the indoor season/tournaments with fast surfaces :o

Krajicek as a winner will be good for tennis and her fans. I remember old times when she was higher in ranking than Agnieszka so I hope she will back to TOP50 this year.

Because most players aren't that high on the ranking. But if we had an indoor-ranking, some of them would be top35
