In terms of my knowlledge of her potential players, I remember seeing a little bit of a faulty mestre live stream (50K) where marcinkevic took on makarova and i saw the last game of first set which marcinkevica won. She doesnt hit the ball that hard but isnt a puddler, shes kind of like a victoria azarenka except at the level of someone ranked around 400. Her serve is so bad though. From what i have seen of stanciute, shee seems to have the firepower (when I saw firepower, she still doesnt match anett on the ground or in movement but completely whips our Anett with her serve) but she has had some horrific matches (got smashed in all of her fed cup mathces when ranked more than 200 places higher than all her opponents) and her form hasnt been great recently. I think Marcinkevica is the safer option for anett, because if Lina gets in form, she stands a chance.

On the topic of sanduska, i know absolutely nothing. Given anetts scoreline (i know some of the games were close)either kostova played horrifically if sanduska was a puddler, sanduska played amazing if she is agressive player or sanduska maintained same level but anett just replicated fed cup form
Anyway, given the scoreline (63 42 marcinkevica), it seems like anett will get the latvian. I think she has an exce;;ent chance of making the semis, finals or winning. Top 500 here we come :cheer: :yeah: :) :D
