Bine leads head-to-head 1-0 (Stanford 2011 in 3 sets) Neither are playing well at the moment.

Aga.

Aga is the better player, but she's somewhat slumping now. Still think she'll win due to better athleticism and consistency with shots.

Sabine needs to hope for a good serving day and that Aga's slower/less focused than usual.

Depends on which Sabine shows up but I'm hopeful she can do it in 3 :)

Neither is in form, but I think Aga will go past Lisicki thanks to higher confidence and Sabine being a head case.

Even that's VERY debateable

Aga is the better player
If she lifts up her game she should win, but if she still shows incredibly shitty form, Sabine has the game that can take Aga out.
Hope for a good QF :cheer:

Lisicki 7-6 6-3.

Of course, every top 50 player is better than Radwanska.:o

Anyway, Aggie in three.

Lisicki 7-6 6-3.

Is it? Aga is certainly more accomplished and has done more than Lisicki at a younger age. Her serve and FH are better, but I think than Aga wins her matches against a player like Lisicki 75% of the time.

She would have to win their next 3 meeting to get to 75%. Currently she lost 100% of the time. ;)

Sabine in 2. One easy, one not so easy. 7-6, 6-2.

Aga will win.

Or we will see Sabine in form. Then I pick Sabine.

It could go either way. Lisicki certaintly is the player with the bigger, more explosive game between the two. However, Radwanska is more consistent, crafty, and has better variety. Both players have big futures in my opinion but hopefully Sabine will take this one in 2 or 3 sets. Radwanska is riding pretty high right now and Sabine could use the extra confidence. Something tells me aga wouldnt lose alot of sleep if she went out early here.

Lisicki's made a Slam semifinal, Radwanska hasn't. As of now, I'd give the slight edge to Radwanska in career achievements, but I would without doubt rate Lisicki's chances of winning a Slam higher than Radwanska's. Plus, Lisicki beat Radwanska in Stanford last summer despite Radwanska being one of the standout players of the US Open Series.

Please. Barring one GS SF, Radwanska has much better GS record and vastly better win/loss ratio. There's no way you can spin it in Lisicki's favour.

Who is a top ten ranked player? Sabine's biggest title is Family Circle Cup in 2009 and Radwanska is 2011 China Open.

I think that's right, and good about re: Sabine's SF. Unfortunately, she seems more prone to injuries and her game/form varies a lot month to month, whereas Aga does better job of keeping up form (especially in last 12-18 months).

Regardless, nice match up to see, especially as their styles are so different. Hoping for a high quality match.

I have been able to watch Radwanska's last two matches but is she really out of form. In Doha she seemed fine except for the match against Azarenka.
