We deserved a beach resort after AO. :)

Although I have a faint suspicion that Coco's and Alexa's coaches weren't entirely objective when schedulig the February month. I guess the coaches preferred to lay on their asses in Thailand over freezing Paris in February for some odd reason.

Breaking news: The FWTT was thrown into crisis this evening when experienced Thai umpire Nungthaonkarn Wathimawaranothingpot announced he withdrew from officiating the quarter-final between Poland's two main players on tour, Berenika Wojnarowska and Amelie Szczotka-Strozna. Wathimawaranothingpot claimed he had nothing against the long names in principle, but produced a document from the lawyers Shinawatra, Shinawatra, Shinawatra and Bhuvanath, in which it was claimed that pronouncing four consonants in a row for three hours would violate the ILO Ulaanbaatar convention on pronounceable names.

More news from Pattaya as it happens.

Title is Mine
http://www.tennis.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/wmolik1-460x306.jpg

No one was going to deny Samantha Soren another title this week in Pattaya City. She defeated everyone in her path including Berenika Wojnarowska in three tight sets.

"I had a very disappointing Australian Open, what with almost forgetting to even show up. I came here with a new sense of focus and determination to win another title. Unfortunately, Yelena and I could not prevail in the doubles but a singles title certainly makes up for that." Soren says with a huge smile on her face.

With this new trophy, Soren cements herself as a threat in any tournament she enters.
