Hi, all Angie's fans all over the world...Here, it is Angie's 1st quarter tour schedule for 2003:

Jan 6 - Adidas Int'l in Sydney, Aus - Tier II
Jan 13 - Aussie Open in Melbourne, Aus - GS
Jan 27 - Toray Pan Pacific in Tokyo, Jpn - Tier I
Feb 3 - Hyderabad, India - Tier IV
Feb 10 - Qatar Total Fina Elf Open in Doha, Qtr - Tier III
Feb 17 - Dubai Duty Free Women's Open - UAE - Tier II
Feb 24 - State Farm Scottsdale, AZ, USA - Tier II
Mar 3 - The Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, CA, USA - Tier I
Mar 17 - Nasdaq 100 in Miami, FL, USA - Tier I
Mar 31 - Sarasota Clay in Sarasota, FL, USA - Tier IV
Apr 7 - Family Circle Cup in Charleston, SC, USA - Tier I
Apr 14 - Bausch & Lomb - Amelia Island, FL, USA - Tier II

What a tight and tough schedule for early bird senior! I doubt that she will be accepted for some of the tournaments...I thought she was going to Canberra before Aussie Open as indicated by her coach, Deddy Tedjamukti...I think, it is too much for her and I am concerned about possible injury! All the above tentative tourneys are new for her except Aussie Open in which she lost in qualifying round last year! It will be wonderful to see Angie finally to play in Tokyo...Any comments? I just want to wish her luck in 2003!
:) :D :confused: :confused: :confused: :cool: :wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

Lokamaya, that's not the definite schedule. That's from Angie's ENTRY FORM, meaning just a list of tournies Angie registered for :)

If she really plays all these, she's gonna be really tired and might be burnt out soon

I agree :D
She should play like 2 tourney and then take break for a week!!

Seems that Angie will play on higher tier tournaments next year

It's not that bad of a schedule. She's focusing on
higher Tier events. Personally...I would skip INDIA,
and perhaps play only doubles at Doha.

Thanks Satya for the info...I know it actually...There is no way guys she will play such hectic tourneys...Yayuk Basuki has suggested her to play twice a month then have a break...Indeed, that's all the tourneys she is registering for...but as I said some of them may not let her to compete due to her low ranking...So, like Adidas Int'l in Sydney, if she is not accepted here then she will go to Canberra...Go, Angie!:wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

:eek: she will play every week for 3 months. I think and hope she will skip some tourneys.

I'm hoping she plays the following schedule:

* Canberra or Hobart, AUS not Sydney (unless she gets into the maindraw)
* Aus Open, AUS
* Tokyo, JPN
* Hyderabad, IND
* Doha, QAT
* Dubai, UAE
* Indian Wells, USA
* Miami, USA

Fed Cup is probably on after Miami, so it's unlikely she'll play the green clay events.

Will she be playing Hong Kong, because there's no mention of either Gold Coast or Auckland? :confused:
