Well, South Africa is part of the Tennis-Ticker network. So there should be live scores.

These Indian and possibly Bangkok tournaments are much more dubious.

I opened a commitment thread, the tournament starts on Saturday morning, it would be high time for us to commit. It's a Premier that will be decisive for the Masters, maybe someone more reliable than Ruben could take over?

I agree with Shaun - for the last event prior to the Year Ends it was terrible - with picks originally going to be accepted and then the draw going to be made by the manager after he's received picks.

We have 131 players this week, so those 2 tournaments per week in December will definitly not enough. There would be enough other 10K-tournaments but I'm quite sure that we could get troubles to find OOPs or even draws.

Last year we've extended the draws to 64 MD's. What would you like more? A third tournament or two tournaments and one of them with a 64MD/32QD?

It depens on how many players commit. usually the MAIN DRAW singles starts on tuesday, while MAIN DRAW doubles begin on wednesday :)

I think it's better for you to start as an assistent, as it seems you have no clue about managing.
And without computer managing in TT is nearly impossible, you would have to invest hourS each day. :lol:

I think it will be okay, because play usually begins at 1 or 2 AM(my time) if this tournament is like the others in Turkey. I will sacrifice a few hours of sleep.:)

I feel with my other 3 tournaments -Rock Hill, Saguenay, and Antalya- have gone well.

I have class all week, and that postpones diffs. You wonder why I manage then? I do it because I enjoy it and we need more managers, so I started.

I'm truly sorry that Santiago has gone horrible.

There is no problem with your managing as long as you are able to correct your mistakes, and you did as i just saw :)

You also can manage as much as you want in the future. ;)

Those people who moan about managers should really stop now, they already screw buji and valac222 and soon we will completely run out of managers if it goes on like that :rolleyes: managers are also humans and can mistakes...

Actually, this week Potchefstroom is full MD, Antalya will have alts to QD which is a bit stupid?, strange?. I cannot see the reason why some people forced to played qd for a challenger or even be alt when there is an easy solution. IMO TOP 30 rule cannot be an excuse.

I voted for the new rule. Anyhow, this is a bit senseless. Majority of the scenarios are around three cases:

-Top 30 forgot to commit to WTA, but still inside ITF deadline. (Actually this is why I voted for the new rule)
-Slams 2nd week. They should be allowed to play.
-Off-season. Joe will anyhow extend the main draw for 64 and then it is not a problem. I would rather suggest to stop qualifying in off-season and announce by default 64MD for all tourneys.

Antalya will have alts to QD which is a bit stupid?, strange?.

Antalya has a 64 MD and 47 singles players atm.
